Wow; an exciting couple of nights, JC! Always good to see you and Mike herping together. (Hope his vehicle is okay). And for sure my little man, Johnny with you. Y’all have a great father-son relationship. I find it immensely amusing when you are trying to get him to do something and he’s not complying to your specifications and time table. 😀 Been there, done that with my Ben. Long-nose pretty. Then the coral was breath taking. Hands down, my favorite snake on the planet. Hard-pressed to come up with a prettier species, imo. Walking sticks were among the largest I’ve ever seen. 🙂

Yeah, that coral was a handsome specimen. Actually though, I've never seen a dull coral. Now on to another matter. Some time ago I stated C. atrox was the snake species you most often encounter. You felt checkered garters were as common. Now I've been keeping a tally, and I'm blowing you out of the water! But videos are great. Keep up the good work.
@herpingwithjcАй бұрын
@@fcardini lol yeah atrox have been plentiful so far!! I have some videos coming where the garters are everywhere though lol… thanks for watching 🙏

Well, those two-night adventures paid off in a big way. Dig the habitat on that road you found the coral, reminded me a bit of southern AR where I grew up. Next time Johnny gets to hold the armadillo. For the views.
@herpingwithjcАй бұрын
@@smetlogik Yes they for sure paid off!! I love the habitat in that area too!! Yeah we need to get a hold of an armadillo next time lol.

I didn't see any firefly! For real though, great video as always. That coral was a really nice surprise. I hope Jonny was able to get a good look at it while it was in such a safe restraint. And the banded copperhead was a real looker. Thanks for all the work you put in these videos. Have a great day and I'll catch you on the flip-side. Richard from Arkansas
