this is raw stuff, no cameramen, no boom mic, literally a phone, a GoPro, and a nice camera and that just shows that you just love these animals.

That last snake to me was and always will be a Canebrake rattlesnake.I know people nowadays interchangeably use the term Timber rattlesnake, but to me that creamy color with black bands mean a Canebrake. The black colored version of the one found farther north is a Timber.I know they're the same snake but I'm old school like that. That was a fantastic video. If you've ever been a tin flippin' virgin, when you flip your first rattlesnake under tin,it is a total adrenaline rush.LOL!

Mostly find yellow-faced whips, small-eyed snakes the occasional juvie brown and red belly. I envy American herpers who seem to get 50+ snakes a day of at least 20 different species.

@@MrSuperleobros Herping in America can be insanely hard. If you live in Georgia, Florida, or any state out west, it is brain dead easy. If you live anywhere else, it's decently hard

Those S Ga canebrakes are so beautiful. Ran into a 5.5 footer a few yrs back while clearing some brush in Homerville and he must have had at least 10-12 rattles on him. We measured him with a stick laying next to him and then let him go😎

Hey Buds - Great Video. I'm here in Long Island and have a question: If the spot is loaded with fire ants, why don't you flip the board over and leave it (instead of flipping it backs). Wouldn't this make it more hospitable for snakes the next time you go to the spot?
