We live 4 hours from Galveston and we always drive in the night before!! You never know what will happen with traffic in Houston!!!!

Just stumbled upon y'alls channel while looking for some cruise videos, and glad I did! Great info you gave on all things Galveston -- should help a lot of people. I hope you're able to come down when you have a few extra days pre- or post-cruise to enjoy all that Galveston has to offer... So much incredible history, stunning architecture, and fun things to do! Hi guys, I will be boarding the NCL Prima February 2024 out of Port of Galveston. Flying in the day before of the Cruise into Houston Hobby Airport. Planning on taking Uber down to Galveston Island the day I fly in. QUESTION: If my Uber gets caught in traffic or construction back up do I face AN ADDITIONAL CHARGE BY UBER or is the price I was quoted at the PICK UP LOCATION the price I pay?? This will be my 1st time taking Uber. Thanks in advance. 😎⛹️‍♀️🚴‍♂️🤸‍♂️

Thanks for the super helpful content! What’s the earliest time you recommend for booking a return flight from IAH on the disembarkation day? We’re looking at a 2:40pm flight out of IAH, but I’m now thinking that might be too early.

I feel like 2:40 safe should be safe, especially if you book your transfers with the cruise line and get off the ship relatively early.

I can speak for the Royal Caribbean and it was walker/wheelchair friendly. I have issues walking and it was just like an airport. There was a section that has an angle, just like a skyway. I’d expect all the terminals to have the same model, but I can’t say for certain.

On carnival what nights or where are you required to wear a suit

I believe it was the second and the 5th night that were formal nights. You weren't however required to wear a suit though.

We used Budget and returned it in Texas City LA Marque. Then we took an Uber to the port.
