Cruising the English Riviera. Ferry to Dartmouth.

From mid Devon, England I rode over the moor to South Devon, which is known as 'The English Riviera'. I took the ferry from near Brixham to Dartmouth. I love getting the ferry, it's so exciting! Stopped and had a picnic and chattered to you a little. I grew up in South Devon so it's like going home.

I always go on my own too. How did you get to Switzerland? Ferry to northern France and then ride through Germany? I'm looking at Germany again but I hate the motorways and I like rurality rather than towns. I've been trying to find nice stopping places on Google maps tonight!

Hi Sophia. Another great fun video. The south devon coast really is beautiful, last time i had a bike weekend in south Devon we stayed at Hope Cove. I know what you mean about getting on a Ferry, i love it. Years ago i used to go over to the Isle of Wight 2 or 3 times a week with my job but that was in a truck so not as much fun as 2 wheels. Love putting the bike on the Cross Channel ferry, the holiday starts on that ferry 🚢🏍=😀👍

@@lionheartmachines2193 Yes, we explore and walk. Few places on the moor and beyond we have not been to I suspect. The best bit is the quiet and darkness. Two things we do not have in our town. Ps; coming accross as English is to be treasured, soon it will be only a memory.

That bike sounds lovely, I haven't been Dartmouth in at 25 years but it still looks nice will have to visit again. Can I ask a question about you helmet, is it noisy? Can you hear your music and that ok, I'm getting really fed up with noisy full face helmets.

Hello and thank you. The helmet is a Bell. It's great. I can hear my music very well and the bike. But all helmets have different inner shells So find one that suits your head shape. But I can thoroughly recommend Bell if it fits!
