Yeah Jinbei being so high up makes perfect sense. We’ve clear examples in the anime exist of bounties not equalling power levels. Robin as a kid having 79 million, chopper having 1000, and Usopps post dressrosa bounty are just three examples. Unfortunate that people still try to power scale off of those bounties though. Like another example, no way are Luffy Law and Kid equally strong because they all have 3 billion bounties as well.

With Jinbe now overtaking Sanji, I guess the difference all resulted on who their opponent was (Zoro's was obvious with fighting Kaido's Right-hand King who's a wanted last-race Lunarian): Queen was a Top Executive & a former MADS scientist, while Who's Who was an Executive, a former CP9 (who is equal to Lucci), & had a history with Nika & the Gomu Gomu no Mi {as well as Jinbe's influence as a Warlord too in being a factor to his bounty increase}. With those in mind, it makes sense Jinbe's victory over Who's Who gave him more of a boost in the eyes of CP0/Government.; after all CP0's main objectives for being in Wano in the first place were: Luffy's defeat/death, Robin's capture, AND ensuring the termination of Who's Who - I'd also like to think that maybe CP0 took into consideration through their usage of Kaidou's Marys surveillance force that maybe Sanji's capture by Black Maria's honeytrap and his cry for help through the intercom throughout the whole entire island might have also played a factor with determining sanji's new bounty

Ummm Jinbei was always above Sanji. Sanji’s bounty before Whole Cake Island was less than Jinbei’s Pre Time skip bounty (177 vs 250 million beri) During Wano Sanji was at 330 million. When Jinbei joined the Straw Hats in Wano he was at 438 Million.

It's important to note that jinbei has had major influence over the world long before the straw hats, it definitely adds a lot to the bounties. Bounties were never meant to be a power scalers like what Dragonball scouter is, it's mostly how much the WG wants them dead. Buggy is a perfect example here!

Am I the only one who’s sick of the Chopper low bounty running gag? Because I think that gag’s overstated its welcome a long time ago. Chopper did so much in Onigashima like fighting off Queen and curing all the Ice Onis. Hard to imagine CP0 didn’t catch wind of that. Sentomaru who’s a part of the Navy saw him transform years ago and didn’t correct anyone for some reason. Usopp didn’t even do anything in Wano to warrant such a high bounty increase.

What i dont understand is why Luffys bounty is only 3b i mean he not only defeated Kaido, he also awakened the 800 years lost Devil Fruit so he should be considered the biggest threat to the world government. Doesnt make sense that a Buggy has higher bounty or Kid and Law having the same bountys. But i guess they had to have room left for it to grow until we get to the end of the anime.

It does make sense. The World Government is still trying to hide his significance by giving Luffy the same bounty as Kid and Law, though of the three only Luffy became a Yonko.
