Like if you are standing in the top left you'd be in A1 and if you moved to where Ayanokoji sits you'd be in D1. Yamauchi's coordinates would be C4. Desks aren't per a coordinate then.

Haven't seen anyone talking about the symbolism with the chess piece and the chairs. While Ichinose and Ryuen claim their places as class leaders by sitting on their chairs and Arise also does this by sitting on the top of the chess piece, ayanokoji always stay on the side, refusing to assume himself as a leader.

Ayanokoji is not courageous, but rather confident. *Moderation?* I don't think so, that would require him to know how to hold back, and when he has no morals, there needs not exist for moderation in morals or whatever he's willing to do. Mr.ayanokoji is very masterful of his dark side and light side. So he controls his dark triad traits well as much as his light traits like resilience and control over his destiny. He starts out depressed in the first novels, but later on, he opens his heart more to those whom he has guided in developing themselves. He later is no longer depressed and only focused on winning, but also, reaching new heights with few others. He no longer is Icarus who arrogantly reaches for the sun, but rather, reaches new heights with other few. And becomes his own star. He is why this light novel is so excellent! As it shows someone who starts disinterested, ends up attaining the deepest interests of which we all call fate. He is what literally develops all the other characters, helping all the girls be the best woman they can be, and some of them literally changing enormously due to him.
