I will continue to copy and paste this around Black Clover comment sections when I see incorrect info being spread, because the facts need to be known. Tired of hearing all of the incorrect claims about why Black Clover has bad animation. I keep hearing stupid things like "low budget" and "lazy animators" when neither of those things are actually true. The real reasons behind Black Clover's issues aren't that simple. 1. Black Clover is severely understaffed. Despite this, the incompetent producers of the series don't support the team. They've abandoned them and left the task of finding new staff to the director, who doesn't have time to do that because he's already incredibly busy working on the series. 2. Because of the lack of staff, the schedule is hell. Some episodes have been animated in as little as 3-4 weeks before, which is a production nightmare. A healthy anime usually has 8 weeks minimum to animate an episode. 3. There aren't enough animators in Japan. More and more anime are being made each year, and there aren't enough people to make them. This is why the upcoming One Punch Man season 2 looks bad. J.C. Staff has too many projects on their hands and not enough people to handle them all. The budget for Black Clover is completely normal. Not low, not high. This is because most of the animators that work on the show are paid for every cut they do as opposed to every drawing. Most series operate this way, which is why the budget remains the same for most series of the same genre. In Black Clover's case, it costs around $200,000-$300,000 per episode. The small team that works on the show is incredibly passionate about it, which is the only reason why some episodes are well animated in the first place despite the fact that they shouldn't be. I see no difference in Black Clover from the start to now. It's been amazing the whole time. The VA sounds no different. People just making excuses cause they realize it's actually good. Well, I can't say that since this episode. The only issue I've had with this show is how overly censored the girls were. Unless I'm mistaken it's almost like she KNEW how asta's power should work. Those words loin chick said to asta wasn't random it feels. She didn't seemed surprised when ata was flying right towards her, and was ready to quell him if needed. *She even raised her power as if she was trying to draw him in.* But how did she figure out/know that'd work?

She knew what her brother said to asta just by looking at him plus she wanted to test the young upstart peasant boi with no mana. Earlier in the episode she gave him the option to run and she wouldn't blame him
