This is a great series, nice level of intrigue, intelligence, and decent setting explanation. It’s just a shame that the series dropped the main character being “unattractive” since her being an outsider was more interesting that being a main harem competitor

What's the matter for the main character to be a competitor cause it would have been a total other story and a total other main character. Also it's not a romance so no need for that and there are already a lot of story about competitor. Here it's more interesting to follow someone on the bottom of the hierarchy and seeing that with her skills she deseves better than the others to be on the top of the hierarchy. It's cool to follow servant that are just here to clean but still manage to have interesting story to tell.

Well, she still has a badly scarred arm and a deformed pinky. And she's never really been a harem candidate, since there's only one person who wants to romance her, and he's not really interested in anyone else. Her looks were never a factor. It is slightly annoying in that it follows the trope that the MC must always be attractive, but given her mother, it's not all that surprising.

I was expecting it for 2024 but it looks like it'll be for Fall 2023 instead, so not so long to wait for. Seeing such quality, my only regret may be that there's no way the anime will cover enough of the story to see Mi Chue being animated and voiced.

Looking back on this now, it's amazing that the trailer for an upcoming 24-episode season already had clips in it from the last episode. Maybe they just animated certain cuts ahead of time to have them for the trailer, but I'm still impressed. After watching Shirobako, I don't expect animation to be completed that far in advance.

@@pandachan2972 trailer literarly shows scenes up to a vol. 2 of LN final. But it is just not the best place for a final for me. I hope for 4 volumes because it has such a great "antagonist" and closes most of the plotlines introduced. They can adapt 4 volumes in 24 eps just fine. People often overestimate how much episodes it is requred for adaptation.
