1:29 Favourite part, tbh. There's something that's just so satisfying and cool about watching Luffy's back with the wind and the cape, appart from the movement of the "camera" and the ice *cracking* and melting into sakura petals. Definitely aesthetic, and so gratifying with the music.

​@@ismatoro1 Maybe I'm wrong but I think the reason of the fire in Luffy's Red Hawk and Red Roc is because rubber can get hotter due to stretching, so once the heat was released as fire, and the rubber contracts it gets cooler and frozen the surroundings. I see it as a visual resource of the huge stress of this attack.

This episode is a masterpiece. It accomplishes so much and it does so organically. When it shows all the events that lead to this moment, I couldn't help but get chills. Especially since we were seeing snippets from Luffy's point of view. What really makes that aspect special for me, is that I don't often view the story through the eyes of a singular character so I don't typically know what some characters know and don't know. For example; Luffy never listened to Nami's backstory when Nojiko was talking about it so he doesn't know anything about it. Anyway, this scene was a reminder how far we have come since then and it really lays down the payoff in front of us. This is by far the best episode of One Piece to date and I imagine it will reign in the top 5 episodes by the time One Piece ends too.
