As mentioned previously, once La Manche is taken, then it might be worth (both mechanically, and thematically) just building up country control across the realm, and increasing the military and commercial power of the directly held Dutchies...especially given the current prospect of a Steward King succeeding. Maybe worth looking at how the Aragonese Angevine Culture might be shaped, going forwards too After all, a realm of those proportions historically would have been considered VERY significant, especially across the West of Europe

As a diplomat, wouldn't Henri want to rule the French empire by claiming the title of the emperor? Or are current emperor's alliances too strong?

The irony of you saying the British Isles are looking interesting when, with the exception of the Scottish ruling southern Ireland and the Norweigans ruling the northern tip of Scotland, the borders are pretty bang on the modern ones! Especially mainland England and Wales!

The border gore needs to be fixed(and the lands firmly under control by loyal vasalls) before breaking away from Francia, otherwise there will only be rebellions and the risk of the realm breaking apart again(don't repeat the mistakes of the ancestors).
