OOOOOOOOO brother you missed a golden nugget in your community courtship part that you touched on. They shuck and jive in families as adults too! They push people together and put pressure on weaker people to marry this one or that one. And then they wind up in meaningless marriages that have not been co signed by God. It doesn't matter what daddy, mommy or the church believes is best. It's about what GOD thinks is best. People have to tell the truth and the longer it takes to get there, the more suffering and curses are going to hit. Like, how much is selfish sin worth to my fellow Christians? Is it worth this much? Apparently.

I would love to get someones thoughts on age and stage of life with this. I can see all/most of his arguments pertaining to young couples (under 21) especially when the daugher still lives with the father. But what about a 30 year old woman? 40? 60? Women remarry or often do not get married until they are older. Are they still under the authority of the father then? Does the other 60 year old man need to get permission from the 90 year old father to marry his daughter? Thank you
