It carries a 92 gram action cam very well. To be seen in my last post... As far as I know, I have even flown with it for 14 minutes with 650 - 850 mah 3-4s (cruising without a heavy action cam of course).

Yea I got 27 and a half minuets on a 2200 mah 4s in the summer which was very good. The reason I did not replicate this with my 3000mah 4s lion was because for me rn it’s consistently 20-30 degrees so battery performance is pretty bad due to the cold. I only got 19 min which is still good but not as good. Thanks for the viewership and comments I really appreciate it. Stay tuned because I have a fly woo explorer review coming out soon!

I really like this quad and have two of the hd ELRS models. I use one for freestyle and have one set up for longer range with gps. I'm gonna have to grab one of those 4s lions for it. I just set the freestyle one up for top battery mount recently, but haven't had time for a test flight yet. I have been flying it on 450s mainly, but will give 850s another try. Nice review. And I too have found the newer bottom plates more durable.

Yea recently I just slammed it into concrete twice with no issues. Also with a lion I got about 23 min of cruising so due to the higher kv it was not as long as my flywoo explorer tho. Thanks and happy flying!

I love this quad. I have the elrs version (there also appears to be a FC revision as the elrs USED to be 15a but is now 20a just like the frsky one) it has amazing range and flies amazingly well. I did have an issue where I would get light oscillations during punch outs. But it was simple to tune out. The HM OVX303 is weird... I think on IRC it only does 300mw But on Smart Audio it can do 400mw... Why?...🤷🏻‍♂️ I did have a couple of quality control issues... One of my motors lost a tooth (magnet) fairly easily...low speed crash with a banana tree...lol they're soft... And my Caddx ant sometimes fails and I have to give it a hard flick (I swear it works...🤦🏻‍♂️ ) to get it to comeback on. Eventually I did break an arm...a bit odd I hit a tree trunk and the arm snapped upwards... not a clean break but a splintering one that also delaminated... Thing is...once again I really wasn't going that fast... Quality control issues and delicacy a side...I really love how it flies. I use 1100mah 4s HV batts...

Yep I also had some slipped magnets. I have at a bando and hit concrete on my front right arm and every magnet slipped to the side. Interestingly I slid them back into place and it still flys fine. Yep I actually broke an arm on the first flight due to a bad lay of carbon which broke on a punch out an my integrated reciver died but their support was nice and sent out new parts free of charge which was cool. As far as flight it still amazes me with how it feels like a 5 inch. I personally fly with 850s as I already have them and it feels great and I get around 5 min of freestly. @@fpvcentral2807 I also flew mine missing that magnet... didn't skip a beat. I did get a replacement motor... Funny thing is that replacement was immaculate... The stock motors all had the epoxy all sloppily slathered all over the magnets. The replacement? Every magnet was gleaming. I eventually started cannibalizing parts off of it because I was too impatient to wait for the replacement bottom plate. But once it gets to me. I'll put it back together again...

Yes and no. This quad is designed to be a toothpick so the smaller motors make it lighter and have a really quick response because it weight so little. You could build one with 2205 motors on 6s (I have) and it flys really well just different. It’s a lot heavier (3x) but ends up being faster and imo more fun to freestyle due to its mass advantage. So it’s kinda a preference thing. I like heavy quads with lots of mass to throw around as I find it more fun to freestyle but others disagree. I think another interesting question would be keeping everything the same but adding a 6s battery (with lower kv) and seeing how it flys.
