I'd you reheat the candy mixture and add a tip of baking soda you can make candied popcorn with the leftovers. Pour it over the popped corn and bake for 45min at 200 stirring every 15 minutes so it gets evenly coated. Once it dries it coats each piece and is no longer sticky. It's a family favorite for us.

Thank you for the video as always 💕 Questions. 1. How long will a traditional candy apple last ( I have an order for 80 but want to make them a day or two before but don't want them to be so hard they break their teeth) 2. Please do a video on flavor measurements (made a pretty apple that taste like words I can't say on your comment thread) 💕💕💕Again thank you for your very informative videos

Pretty Fit I've made apples 2 days in advance, I would not close the bag or boxes tho. If your using the small dram use the entire bottle. they will still be hard, idkw the homemade mix is soooo hard, geez
@natashamitchell29046 жыл бұрын
Pretty Fit ive done 100 apples and they will be ok in a bag or box juat as long as u r have ur apples sitting in a cool room and not by heat.. Ive did apples a week in advance and they were still fine..thats when i did 100 apples for an event..

Hi Ms. Ro ! 1.Do you have to stir the mixture while its heating up? 2. If I need to do a dozen or more candy apples can I double or triple the full mixture amount or will the mixture cool down too much to do that many? 3. How long can I sit them in the fridge before an event or selling them? 4. I know this video is from last year so do you still recommend this chef master's candy food coloring or is there a better one you like now?

@YourSweetConnection6 жыл бұрын
Marjorya Bell if you don't have a silicone mat you can use wax paper or you can even use parchment paper but you wanted to be a flat surface so you can have nice bottoms and yes you can do this in any color

I think all 8 of my grand kids would love these apples , Sense the age range is from 10 down to 1 I will do the smaller Apples, they all love those sour patch candies. For the 1 year old my daughter can just cut his off the stick for him to eat it. Safer that way.
@rebeccacadena69572 жыл бұрын
Can you add the citric acid directly to the candy instead of coating?
@YourSweetConnection2 жыл бұрын
Yes, you can do that but you want to add the citric acid to sugar instead of the Apple cause it’ll be too sour
