I feel you. I'm a big Haley fan, but I don't think anyone, even Haley, poured out as much feeling as this little girl did. With a tear in her eye, and I'm sure a little choked up, she may not have been technically perfect (her prior performance was smoother), but she was emotionally perfect. She she showed us her heart on that stage. And that's what music is about.

Still the Queen of Idol. It should've been her and Adam in the finale. And quite frankly she should be far more famous than she is. Her and Adam kicked ass that season and god her voice is incredible. Another note: did anyone else notice the similarities between this season (2014) and 2009? Think about it, amazingly talented rocker dude whose best friend his a seventeen year old standout (also a rocker) with an original voice. And his roommate is the underdog (Kris (2009) and Alex (2014))

It's so interesting to watch this again, years later. The only two on the stage that are still relevant are Allison and Adam, with Allison's band Halo Circus. If you haven't heard their music and you are a fan of Allison's voice, you should really check them out. But I cried when she was eliminated, and watching this performance is incredible because she was so young, and she was able to show such grace after getting what must've felt like the worst news of her life.

Gokey should have gone home, and I hated the gloating smile he had when she was announced as eliminated. Adam & Allison couldn't win, Idol doesn't let rockers win. Maybe this 2014 season, who knows. Allison was the oldest most seasoned 16 yr old IDOL has ever had, and she'll have a great career.

It seems like AI was skewed towards 'safe midwestern guys' (see also Phillip Phillips over Jessica Sanchez), and I legitimately think that Adam freaked people out, so it didn't have to be rigged in that case, per se. Even at that, Allison 4th is crazy.
