Damn crypt you gotta look into the Sisyphus metaphors all throughout the song. Not only are they thoughout the lyrics, but the structure of the song, and even basic chord progression seem to echo the metaphor of Sisyphus pushing an boulder up a mountain, letting it fall and then pushing it up and repeating for eternity.

@@RandomCrewPotatoSoup I mean sure, butif you listen to the song it's constantly ascending to a huge peak in different ways just to fall back to the bottom again, and the lyrics also tie into this with all of the mountain amd Sisyphus talk, also with the video with the mountains and the boulder. It's all tied together in such an amazing way that you don't notice until little by little you piece it together after each listen and watch.

Hey crypt, The title of the song is Sisyphus, mentioning greek myth Sisyphus who tricked the gods and was cursed in the underworld to roll a heavy rock up a mountain, only then to reach the top and have it slip from his grip, falling back to the base of the mountain. Quadeca is saying that he could reach the top if he wanted too, but he knows that the rock would fall again. he raps about how ‘they only love me when i’m back on my grind’ pretty much saying, his fans only love him when he is pushing the rock up the mountain. it is his ‘fate’ to reach the top, only to fall from greatness. or atleast that is this songs message. ‘it’s that rock and roll, vulnerable’ that line is referring to sisyphus and his climb with the rock. You could say he is away from his ‘path’ or his ‘true calling’ as he says in the line ‘its a cycle, just a path that i can’t find’ You could interpret this as quadeca quitting music and pursing something else he is passionate in. (this one is a little iffy although)

I DONT think Crypt understands the song. He mentions the distortion being caused by poor mixing but i would say it’s an artistic choice that was done on PURPOSE. It adds so much to the song, both sonically and lyrically. As a fan of various subgenres of rap, KZbin rappers have never really impressed me. However, From Me To You is building up to be the MOST ambitious project ever created by someone considered a KZbin Rapper
