For my username, the "Tion" part comes from when I was 13 years old and got into W40K. My friends were all making custom characters based on existing space marine characters. The Tion(tee-on) was originally pronounced "Tye-on" ala Kayvaan Shrike (Jetpacks are cool okay). A fucking lifetime later, streamers read my name as Tee-on and I liked that more than the other way so I kept it. I have gone through many random name changes, but the "Tion" is always the main part of it. My current name is because I like coffee. :) tons of it in fact :))

In middle school through high school me and a bunch of friends wrote a story together that was a space opera with different animals at the helm of various societies, and I wrote the stories for the Orca's and Pigeons. The pigeons were an underclass for the Iguana's, so were considered a part of the Iguana imperial force, so I went by OrcaIguana. A lot has changed as the main friend working on it now is going to college for creative writing, I no longer write stories but instead make in-universe poetry and songs. There's no longer animals, instead being humanoids, but my username has stuck.

My username comes from when me and my brother first needed online usernames, and we brainstormed some ideas together. Mine eventually came from the fact that we thought lasers were cool, that it would be even cooler to be the lord of lasers, and then that it would be even COOLER to add a Z at the end, because that was at the specific time on the internet where it WAS cool (at least to preteen me), before corporations started doing it, making it lame. Despite that, it has been my username, z included, most places (though not all) that require one.

I’ve gone through a LOT of online names throughout the years, including, but not limited to: Dunno (based on my MC account) Mantamaus (based on my favorite animal, the manta ray, and my favorite pkmn at the time, tandemaus), and Rei/Ray (based on Manta Ray, and maybe Rei from Evangelion) I’m kind of partial to what I have now. As you can probably see, I’ve always sucked at names, but this one fits in a strange way? Like it describes me. For short, I will often just refer to myself (or have others refer to me) as Max or Rant, second one there as the first is a common name, just like my real name, which is why I didn’t use it. All things considered, it’s kind of bland, and I hate the numbers and shortening of “the” in it. Been thinking of changing my online name to Maximillian or something, not due to any ego things, but it rhymes with my favorite color, Vermillion, and also contains “max” in it, a name I intend to keep. Also way more original and more ‘fancy’.

I happened to like black jack and remembering that black jack is made with a jack and an ace, aka jack ace, I decided initially on black jack. But black jack is too common, lot of people like black jack, sounds cool apparently, who could've guessed? Well since you asked, I first decided on my username over 10 years ago in middle school when I first installed and played Clash of Clans. All the guys in class were playing it so I decided to check it out. Since I'd never had a username before (that I can remember) I gave it some thought for a while. I thought to myself "Well I don't wanna just put my actual name cause Alfonso is kinda boring as a username, but I don't wanna completely make up something on the spot". So I spent a good 15 minutes trying to rearrange and replace some of the letters in my name and all of sudden, for no reason at all, I thought of Frodo from the Lord of the Rings. So I added Al- before it to make it closer to my name and went with it. I wasn't on board right away because I'm not even a LOTR fan. Sure I liked the movies, but I'm not crazy about them and I haven't read any of the books. But I really liked it so I chose that one, and it's been my username for everything since then

My username: Memo90 Origin: One of my neighbors as a kid gave me the nickname “Meemo”. I thought getting a nickname from an adult as a kid was the coolest thing, so I decided to use that as my username. But because of Finding Nemo, I thought you spelt “Meemo” as “Memo”, and only realized the pronunciation error years later, but still stuck to the username. One of the first usernames I ever used online was Sephiroth with an extra -t at the end. Because I was at an age where that seemed like a brilliant way to have an already taken username without adding numbers. >_> Anyway people commonly shortened it to Seph or Sephy, when at one point someone said I reminded them of a Victini and called me Sephini. Then they changed their username into a combination of a character they named themselves after and a Pokemon, which made me aware I could change my username on this archaic forum where that's not easy to do, I followed their example and the name became my de facto official online and semi-actually original name. TL;DR It's a combination of Sephiroth FF7 and Victini the Pokemon.

Long story for my username! Some of the specifics have been lost to the murky swamp that is my memory, but the general story is still intact. I was attending an ID tech camp program when I was a little kid, around 12 if I remember correctly. It was break time and I had opened Roblox to play. I'd been playing as a guest on most Roblox worlds, so I decided to make an account this time. I stared at the username screen for a few minutes, unable to come up with one. Then, the kid who sat next to me who's name I can't remember leaned over and suggested that I let him come up with a username for me. I didn't see a reason to deny him, so I said yes. He took a few seconds to think, then he typed in "Danny_Waaa" into the username section. Ever since that day, I have used Danny_Waaa, with or without the underscore, on pretty much every single gaming account that I have. Oh right, I forgot about username origins Anyway, mine is that I was a kid, wanted to do something non-commital and change it later (look how that turned out), so I picker a cartoon character (the games didn't even come out in my country's language at the time) and slapped my favorite number, because it was taken Anyway, it was before google decided to create accounts for every yt account and made it default, so one job interview when I though I wasn't logged in was very awkward Anyway, everywhere else I go by Fantazjum, because I found it in a book once and it was a wizard's name (I have a thing for mysticism and magic) and decided I want to be more creative from now on, so every character I create has some fancy name, but I still use it as an account name

I was a 13 year old emo boy whose favorite Pokemon was Umbreon when I made my username. I thought I’d be clever and merge Umbreon with the R Us part of Toys R Us and be like “every one of us has darkness inside of us”. Ok so for the starlow13 Starlow is my favourite Mario and Luigi character so that’s was the prefix the numbers came from randomly selected numbers from a game called animal jam (the classic version not the phone version) and ive stuck with it since Game a (my other gamer tag) Came from a old game called bonk io game was taken so I went with game a and that was truly my first gamertag I’m not very smart

Username origin story! SeerOfTime comes from when I was younger (over a decade ago now) and used to roleplay online with a good friend of mine. He had created this sprawling universe that was loosely based off the Homestuck universe, but was more so his own; seer of time was my class. Because of this, many people assume my name is a Homestuck reference even though I have never been in the fandom at all in my entire life. It's just a RP reference and a name I have never changed since I was a child.

Mine was originally from one of the random name suggestions that Xbox gave people as their account was made. I had a username beforehand that was incredibly similar to it, so I built off of that, and then I built off of the NEXT username, and here we are today!

playing Fate/Extra for the first time ever and I wanted a cool japanese name, and since i was young and kinda chuuni(edgy) i went with Magami (tentatively written at the time as 魔神) 魔 means demon/demonic/fiendish 神 means god(s)/divinity later then i felt that it was cringe, so i changed it to 真神 (still reads as Magami) which is written closer to a normal japanese name and feels a bit less cringey

My username is random. There used to be a futuristic racing game on mobile called AG Drive, and the company that you see when opening up the game is Zorg Entertainment. Back in high school, we were writing a story in English class or something, and my friend asked me what should the name of a futuristic car be. The first thing I thought of was that game and I was just thinking random stuff until I thought of Zorg and I was just like "Zorgot." I don't know why or how I thought of that as a name but yeah, and ever since then like a few weeks later maybe, I kind of liked that name so then I changed all of my usernames to Zorgot pretty much since it was much smaller and neater than a name that was my irl name with numbers on the end that I had since I was 11 lmao.

In my old school, everyone’s usernames were their full surname followed by the first initial of their first name. I decided to do the same thing when I created my KZbin/Playstation username. The 11 at the end came around because I first created rosserm01, however during the process of making my KZbin account something happened with the internet maybe. When everything went back to normal, for some reason the name rosserm01 was no longer usable so I changed the number to 11 instead.
