This is exclusive video from Crystal Cruises VIP event where President Edie Rodriguez unveiled Crystal Cruises 1'st private jet.
The first aircraft for the new Crystal Luxury Air division, a Bombardier Global Express XRS jet, is slated to enter service on April 3.
The jet adds another dimension to Crystal's vacation experiences, giving travelers the option of hopping a private charter to their destination or combining air with a yacht, river or ocean cruise or as I say "JAMES BOND STYLE!"
The starting rate to charter the private jet, which can accommodate 12 passengers, is about $8,000 an hour excluding taxes and any additional costs for overnight stays by crew, Rodriguez said.
The plane has three spacious cabins, with areas for business activities, relaxation and sleeping.
The aircraft's refitted forward cabin has four seats with fold-out tables for dining or socializing, while its mid cabin is configured for conferences with seating for five and a workstation and cabinet. The rear cabin features a three-person divan that can be turned into a large bed.
The Bombardier also has a galley with a cold air chiller, oven, microwave and Nespresso coffee maker.
For entertainment and business purposes, the jet is equipped with electronic video supplies, XM Radio, surround sound, a 31-inch LCD TV, high speed Internet and in-flight phone service, Crystal said.
The jet service will be operated by Corporate Flight Management doing business as Crystal Luxury Air, the Los Angeles-based cruise company said.
Crystal Luxury Air will add a Boeing 777 to its fleet in 2017 and a Boeing 787 Dreamliner in 2018.

Crystal also announced Crystal Endeavor, a 200-passenger polar class mega-yacht scheduled to join the Crystal Yacht Charters fleet in August 2018, as a sister ship to Crystal Esprit, which debuted in December.
