Gorgeous hair. I'm turning 50.My hair is at tailbone length and Crystal Gayle hair encouraging me to keep growing my hair and not cut it.

My grandmother was part Indian & her hair grew fast! Had a friend in high school who's hair was long like CGs who I guess was Caucasian idk? But her hair grew very fast also! Not everyone is average, I guess it depends on a lot of things? But I doubt CG would get on TV & lie! & I remember her saying it several times that her hair grows fast! As someone who's had long hair, I'll believe CG

It is known that Asian DNA gives faster hair growth, hair structure si also different, round section, as Caucasian is oval, and african plate. CG is 1/4 cherokee and Choctaw and rest from viking ancestor thriugh nromandy, irleand and scotland. Her hair grows 1 inch per month. Native americn are asian who come ato maeria through the north back in time and the two contnents were linked though ice. She own that DNA.

Gee...I love this! If there ever is a Broadway musical based on Rapunzel...Crystal would be the perfect person to play her lol..She IS a wonderful and loving person with the longest hair...She is to me, a mix of Snow White (because she has that blacked hair, those blue eyes) and Rapunzel combined :)

I think she could have been more famous. But she as chosen to give priority to her family and stop touring abroad when she had kids. At least she is probably the most famous or among in the long hair community.

Human scalp hair grows at the rate (with very little variation from individual to individual) of one half inch per month. That's 6 inches a year. Ms. Gayle is either mistaken or fibbing with the claim to cut about a foot a year from her hair's length. If this were true, she'd be bald adhering to that routine for more than a few years.

Nope, this is general case... but some people have real fast hair growing rate up to a foot a year, especially when asian or native american genes ( after all natives are asian coming to america trhough the north territory way back in time). Crystal Gayle grows her hair an inch per month. See Guiness rcord book, for eve,n much longer hair, since hair have cycles of a few years, they couldn't have reach this length with the growing rate you mention! Btw average rate is no one half inch (may be yours?) but or 1 inch, faster for asian, slower of africans.

@@justicia5783 sorry, but I have look into the long hair community for years, read a lot of posts on the subejccs and they all say what I say! Why should one trust what you say instead of the long hair community statements ? Just to star growth rate you telle would enable to grow any real long hair, and I have seen many oth them though! Seen Crytsal Gayle in person, touch her hair several times!

Some does grow faster , like if you eat healthy , take vitamins -- supplements; l take them year round mainly just for health issues , but it does affect hair skin and nails , makes it better over time 💆💅
