We ended up staying at Lake Magic during that hurricane - very near TT Orlando in Clermont. Being from the Oregon coast, we felt that we had experienced much stronger storms ( in terms of both rain and wind) in the Pacific northwest. Central Florida very rarely gets much damage from wind during hurricanes. But a lot of areas do flood.
