First day I wanted to go slow so I did about 3:20 and next day I pushed myself a little bit and did 4:10, so I am quite happy and surprised, hopefully in few months I can reach 5:30 or 6min... Thanks Sergey 😀

8.16 without warm up? You are stroooong!!

Ok. What about no warm-up attempt, are you doing HV for it as well?

Oh, ok. I am doing morning STA without HV, since the goal is not reach high number, but rather to be more comfortable with contractions. Have you tried to do it without HV? If yes, what was the result?
@aa1aopla4 жыл бұрын
@@KAIZENFREEDIVING I will try. I've started to do HV only this year (never before) and decided to do it systematicaly. The sensations are not the same, the contractions are delayed but they could be more strong and unconfortables. So, if you plain to do the HV in comp you have to do also a lot of HV trainings. My major problem with HV is the Bo at the start of the performance.

HI Sergey, very interesting training approach the morning max. In my case, I consider dry STA training by yourself, a lot more difficult than STA training in the pool with a buddy. Lying down alone in the gym with no contact with cold water to help you starting you MDR is mentally very challenging. I use STAmina to time my breath holds when doing O2 and CO2 tables and sometimes, like today, I couldn´t get into the zone. I was more worried with the timer than with relaxing. I failed to complete my last round and missed my target time . 2 days ago I completed the same STA breath hold easily and with no contractions. Any advice on how to breathe and how long to breathe when you are ventilating between each round of dry STA? Thanks and keep up the good work!

Hello Sergei! I’ve just found this video, haven’t seen it before. Started my routine with about 60%. Today is the third time I do it. Going pretty motivating. Will try it further. What was your result? Did you manage to come close to your PB?
@KAIZENFREEDIVING3 жыл бұрын
I havent been doing STA for a while, but now come back to it! The goal is to do at least 6.00 with "morning max" (current PB 6.32). I started with 3.00 minutes and slowly add 5-10 secs. Last time was 4.00

I got the challenge! Is STA useful for any DYN training or if I focus only dyn, I can ignore any STA training? (I like static, just interesting)
@KAIZENFREEDIVING3 жыл бұрын
It absolutly possible to do only DYN training and have good results in it:) But to avoid monotony in your training, I think it is a good idea to include some STA training in it. Doesnt have to be hard. Something like "no contraction" table kzbin.info/www/bejne/rJnVkpRner1nhc0

Hello Sergey, one silly question : is it a STA dry training or pool training ? Thx u for all these videos and tips !
@KAIZENFREEDIVING4 жыл бұрын
Hi! It is a dry training, unless you have a pool at your house 😉

It looks like O2 training table, isn’t it? From my part I started 2 weeks ago O2 table of 8 rounds starting by 2 minutes increasing by 15 seconds, so you end up with 3 minutes 45 seconds with a recovery of 2 minutes. I do it 3 times a week. May I keep it 3 times a week or do I have to reduce it to 2 times a week only?
@KAIZENFREEDIVING4 жыл бұрын
You couldnt call it a "table", since it is only one breath hold😉
