Why would you recommend to not bend the knee at all? For example, Arnaud Jerald is always doing these little bicycle kicks for his CBF dives.

Because in most of the cases it is mistake. I agree, Arnaud does have little bicycle kick. Think about this way. If you go to boxing school, they will teach you to keep both gloves high to protect the chin. However, if you watch some legend boxers, they don't follow this rule (Roy Jon's Jr., for example). First, learn classical technique (which is the best for most athletes), and in the future, you can adjust it according to your anatomy, etc

No, buoyancy doesn't depend on the body position. If you are negative buoyant , remove weights from your weight belt. If you don't use weights and still have negative buoyancy, consider a wetsuit.
