oh the nostalgia, de_aztec was probably my first ever map. first played I think around 1999-2000 at an internet cafe. No I7 or Ryzens yet back then, it was Pentium III an Pentium IV, you're already godlike if you have Pentium IV, Pentium III is like playing with minecraft graphics back then

That doesn’t add up mate. Willamette P4’s on 423 we’re just awful, and we’re usually beat out by any Coppermine or Tulatin P3 at a matching clock speed, granted that was on the high end at stock for a P3 but anyone with a Tulatin p3 on socket 370 could push that 1.4ghz and stomp any early P4.

I remember when I was 4 I played on this exact map with some bots. that was 14 years ago. at that time internet wasn't that big thing to me, I at least didn't use it as I use it now. I did not download games or browse the game tracker at that time. I remember one of my dad's friends gave me the disc to "install it", the big cs. (it wasn't an installation disc, rather it was a folder with the game already installed with bots and I believe some Mods.) one day I was playing cs when out of nowhere I was teleported to the load screen to a map that only gave me a knife and that looked like a business place and nothing more, and every time you pressed anything you would enter on a constant reset going from the same map and rotating again to the map. the keyboard either worked and the mouse did not, or both did not work (i can't seem to recall this part, unfortunately) maybe, I entered on those buggy/malicious servers that rebind you to connect to other servers. maybe my dad's friend added a malicious patch? we may never know for sure. I just know after that my dad said I broke the game and I cried that day. a lot. my dad removed cs and that was the end of cs to me... until 2009 when I downloaded cs 1.6 with some now-defunct servers and skins one day I might find that copy again, one day I might relive my nostalgia of playing this strange CS version.
