Thank you so much for your very honest review Tim! I really wish more reviewers were as honest to help us make better informed decisions as these videos are all most of us have to go on, not being able to see these in person. Keep up the good work, brother! 👍🏼

I just bought a pre order in saddle tan from your review. I plan to use large print plain Bible to read the whole Bible in 90 days.

I hope they are not cost cutting the quality of the Handcrafted series. We love the CSB.

I have the LSB wide margin large print Bible in edgelined cowhide. It’s a very thin cowhide that is supple, but it also wrinkles like the CSB Thinline LP when opened. And now it looks like the cowhide cover is separating from the liner in a few spots. I also have the LSB Inside Column Reference in edgelined goatskin, and the quality of the goatskin on it is superb and a nice weight. Its cover is actually more substantial than the cowhide edition. I’ve had the Wide Margin for a year, but I probably should contact Steadfast about this issue. Or save my pennies for a rebind. Thanks for your detailed and honest reviews, as always.

I am passing over this and waiting for the CSB Personal Quentel in 2023.

"Black letter is a huge plus!" You are right, brother.

I have this Bible and I do not have any of the wrinkling issues on the brown or black goatskin. I posted a review a couple weeks ago. Check it out! I appreciate your channel and example for the rest of us who aspire to honestly and lovingly review copies of the Word of God!

Mine's in the mail. But going by what I see here I absolutely recognize the cover as also being on the HHC CSB Study Bible.

I love Holman, and I love the CSB, but I have to admit that I’d be pretty disappointed if a Bible that I ordered came with the cover like that.

I have this very same bible and there are no wrinkles whatsoever when you open it or roll the front& back covers. Tim, maybe you just unfortunately got a bad one.

Is yours brown?

Yes!

That wrinkling is the exact issue I had with the NASB 2020 Prime Reference. EV Bible insisted it was “due to the exceptionally supple goatskin”…major eye roll

Really? Is yours the brown or the black?
@benhughesky2 жыл бұрын
@@anickelsworthbiblereviews It was a brown - I returned for store credit. They said that was normal for those 🤷🏻♂ So I'm rocking a blue leathertex for under $30 with the same paper. Couldn't be happier!

How is not having red letter a plus?
@anickelsworthbiblereviews10 ай бұрын
Because red letter is difficult to print consistently and is prone to being to light.

@anickelsworthbiblereviews That makes sense. Do you know if Thomas Nelson or another premium bible publisher does custom work?

I no longer purchase CSB because the quality of their Bibles seems to always be lacking.

Epic fail for Holman. I’m staying with Nelson

The whole “Handcrafted” series has been a bit of a swing and a miss unfortunately.

I don’t agree with you there. There’s been several editions that are outstanding. However, to your point there have been some flops too.
