CSB Verse by Verse Reference Brown Goatskin Bible Review

I’ve got that same bible and love it. Being 66 years old my go to is NKJV but I’ve learned to branch out into CSB, NLT, NET. As a young man I had a NASB that was bonded leather. It’s covering is go stiff now that I don’t use it that much. What’s difficult in small groups is teaching the Bible’s precepts and not the translation.

I have the CSB Verse By Verse in Bonded Leather. It’s about the best Bible I’ve ever owned. I have a Schuyler CSB too and I love my VBV just about as much!

Hi Dean, great review! I use that Bible as my preaching Bible. I love the wide margins! I've taken lots of notes as I've been preaching through Hebrews. I've been using it since the beginning of January, and it has held up really well. There is some slight page curling while note-taking, but its not a big deal.

lol I ordered this verse by verse in brown goat skin last night before I saw this video. I splurged on an extra $7 to have my name etched on the cover. I’ve been loving my small brown leather CSB but looking for something bigger with more detail and cross references. One thing I love about my small CSB is the Bible Dictionary in the back which is great. Hoping this has it too? If it doesn’t it should. I can’t wait to enjoy this in the years ahead. Good stuff. I like the CSB, but it isn't my go to translation. I do have a large print compact CSB and a full size single column CSB with just a plastic (I refer to them as sanctified plastic) cover.

i got a gorgeous nkjv premiere collection for my birthday that I use for my daily reading, but I really want this bible for notetaking and study. I've had a hard time settling on a bible translation, but I think for study i'd want a nice simple version to pour over the text and take notes.

I recently switched over to the CSB as well, and purchased the same bible as you (though mine is black). I love how it looks and feels; never had a real goatskin bible before. In your video, I saw you use a bible stand. Where did you get it and what's the brand name? I've been trying to find one for myself, but have not been able to locate one.

I got it a few years ago at Indigo here in Canada. But I just looked and they don’t sell it anymore. Sorry.

I love mine have the exact same one but that's probably going to be put aside when I get my legacy standard Bible wide margin the translation from John MacArthur and the The Master's Seminary guys

This Bible does not have red text. I wish it did.
