I can't tell you how much you helped me. A lot of these options and fixes are actually not going to have any effect, most of the time nowadays cpus are unparked, steam launch options were confirmed by a valve dev to cause fps issues Rather than fix them (he recommended you to not have any launch options at all in fact). Also gpu and display scaling also depends on your monitor, for example some older benq monitors if you use display scaling has a much more blurry image other gpu. It's also very important in a guide to show in more detail what these options actually do, as a lot of them you'll find after some research don't really have an affect on cs or its performance. Disabling things like steam overlay, steam broadcasting will help because steam is taking less resources. Its good to see people get fps increases but a lot of these are actually not gonna affect cs at all lol.

I think this video is great and I appreciate you doing this. Although I would love the autoexec to be all about FPS. To me it feels like there are some opinion based options (like steam overlay position, demo_index, cl_join_advertise. This doesnt mean that they are not helpful, but without any explanation you are making changes to the viewers game without them knowing whats happening. Keep up the good work 🙂

@@xosadboy5687 I dont have much more in mind than shown in this video. Maybe you CPU doenst clock that high(mine runs at 4,5 Ghz) or check power options and in windows and set it to high. Maybe your PSU is too weak. try high priority in task manager on CS GO. Check if ram is broken and does not run in dual channel. or any maleware that drains Pc performance. Hyperthreading is also a thing but that was shown in the Video i guess ( didnt watch 100% of it because my ingame settings are good and i skipped the part. Thats all i have but maybe something helps.

Over the years I've tried countless tutorials that "guarantee" to improve your fps, but none of them gave me any significant or noticeable advantage in-game. Lo and behold this one actually worked wonders! Managed to gain like 50+ frames (250-300) from following each step represented in this video! I did have to improvise and download the Nvidia driver manually, but other than that this was super easy to follow. I haven't had any major lag spikes since, and the game feels a lot smoother now. But I don't know what caused that, normally 1280:960 would look better but now I can see much decrease on quality. Even I open 8x MSAA and 16x filtering game looks edgy. There's still debates about cl_interp_ratio 1 or 2 and it depends on your connection. Very unclear what to use even when you look at Pro's autoexec. I guess I'll try 2 for the next week..

use cl_interp_ratio 1 if you have a good connection, and cl_interp_ratio 2 if you have a bad connection.

Went from 120-160 FPS to 180-400 on my own but kept getting massive FPS drops when looking at players, still not sure why since it is a new issue so maybe an update will fix it, but after following your guide I went to a buttery smooth 350-600 FPS and while I am still getting the weird drops when looking at players, it is barely even noticeable because she is so damn buttery smooth now and far far better then she was before, thank you for this guide you are a legend

one thing I strongly disagree with in the autoexec file is the line r_drawtracers_firstperson "1" by putting it to 0 you are going to lag less when spraying. Putting it at 0 improved my performance a lot. Probably won't matter if you have a strong pc.

This helped me so much ! My aim was getting drop during fights but after that processes my game flows like oil :) thanks. In the folder I couldn't install 460.89 so I installed latest drivers. My fps went 222 to 337 :) Graphics card: GTX 1070 and processor: i7 6700k

@@nartouthere Two issues I have encountered were that the Nvidia 30above driver didn’t work from the Google Drive and I had to download it from 3DGuru. And it‘s important to know, to deactivate internet connection before deinstalling and installing the gpu driver, because win10 starts to install another driver version automatically again. But both issues could be tackled like this.

ok so for starters I didn't do everything since I already did it in the past or didn't understand the reasoning for it, like the reg memory thing, I only did nvidia inspector, visual c installer , i tried park control in the past which made it worse but tried it again cause the video didn't really do good again (i think its system specific idk or my computer is messed up) also another thing u might of left out is deleting useless launch options makes the game smoother for example i removed -high instantly noticed I wasn't stuttering when I died in deathmatch and instead of having max fps to 999 or 600 ( i limited my fps because pros had capped their fps at 400 or 500 ) like i had it before i set it to 0 and it became even smoother even though the fps didn't change also another thing I kind of noticed, I don't know what made it happen but I feel like my sens is higher idk if the profile made it so mouse accel was active or what or if its placebo one thing that's not placebo is removing the -freq 240 which made the game less stuttery aswell everything combined my fps went from 400 - 500 range all the way to 230 - 340 range but the game feels so smooth and buttery so I don't know if to be mad about it or not edit: btw i run all high settings (but have like 3 - 4 things turned off since their not noticeable and give fps ) and use 1280 x 960 res stretched and always have since low settings ruin my ability to see properly and my specs are rtx 3060, 5600x and 32gb 3600mhz and use 240 hz monitor

I havent really had a fps problem but felt like the gameplay could be smoother, so i decided to try it out. At first fps dropped by 100, im on RTX 2080 TI btw. I tried using the other driver for RTX30 and above and then i was a whole other story. Never felt a more smooth gameplay and the fps is between 500-600 stable. Great and easy guide to improve overall performance.

VIdeo seemed very promising.. i have a nvidia gpu (1050ti), followed all the steps and went from 244 average to 248 in the workshop benchmark. hopped into my first comp game afterwards and experienced major frame drops down to 80 and major stuttering whenever i peeked angles and counterstrafed it teleported me back and forth on 10 ping. changed the "perfom scaling on" setting from display to GPU, hopped onto my 2nd game after and that fixed the stuttering at least but still inconsistent framerate, sometimes 300 for a split second then back to 80 then 120, 200 and so on. causing me to lose rounds, underperforming and finally my teammates votekicking me and deranking to crown it all. reading the comments it helped tons of people but unfortunately this video did not help me but made it worse. great job nonetheless

yes i followed all the steps and tbh i only followed this guide cuz since the recent csgo update my framerate tends to drop below 144 on some parts of the maps. hence why i dont need a major fps boost since i play on 144hz but its very annoying when i drop below 144. this guide did allow me to gain over 300fps but like i said, it was only for fairly short period of times before it dropped back down in the

So basically i started doing everything yesterday, i did everything from 0:00 to 6:27 "MSI AfterBurner" and everything was working good. Today i continued doing it and did everything to 10:30 then i opened valorant, csgo and gta 5 but in every game i have 60 fps or below when earlier i had 200! Now i cant play any game thank you. I do not recomend anyone doing this tutorial ever again.
