I can play and run 8 racks of 9 ball under 20 min or maybe less. But I generally turn down a notch if playing in tourney or for money. If I'm playing by myself I can run racks under 2 min all day long

From what I believe it's to keep the player's alcove seating area, less cluttered and simple and ease of transition in-between matches. They have just their basic necessities: water, snack, chalk, rag, cleaner, powder, tip tool, play cue, break cue, jump cue, and bridge. Their cases and jackets and other accessories are just on the other side of the filming area for when they are finished. Makes the finishing of the match more time efficient because they have to leave the filming area to finish packing up, so the table can be cleaned, and the seating areas cleaned and straightened. Allowing for the area to be set up for the next match in a timely manner to start and film the next match. Now this is an assumption, but I read in the bi laws (rules), for the tournament that players are limited to how much they can advertise their sponsors. So removing any extra material that may have sponsor info on them (case, jackets, etc.) that could be in violation. They can wear only 5 approved sponsor badges and up to one additional one with the main sponsors approval (advertising for the main sponsor).

​@@Miguelcon1974 sounds reasonable sucks for us case makers. Or..... Is good for us case makers..... Either way we case makers always get the subordinate position. I imagine predator would prefer it if they could ban any mention of any other brand of cue. After they spent years paying players to wear their patches and shirts and use their break cues in the TV matches to get around the full sponsorship....... It's only natural that they would want to prevent the same tricks they used to get their logo on TV. In any event predator has been and continues to be a major force in pool and I applaud their efforts to grow pool.

Muhammed Soufi can add to list. Watched him in money match 2017 against Reyes. Total disrespect arrogant shot too fast and messed up and was trying to chump rack Efren. Finally the GOAT said enough is enough and put him in his place and won!! With class and etiquette unlike Soufi will never watch him again. He doesn't deserve my time.
