Edit: In the second problem, the Degeneracy for the state having energy 7/2 h(cross)omega will have Degeneracy of 6, as it can have values (1,1,0)(0,1,1)(1,0,1)(2,0,0)(0,2,0)(0,0,2) Although it will not affect the solution as fermions didn't reached that energy level but it should be rectified. Ist state mein hi pairing hojayegi na ???? But aapne pehle 4 bhare phir 5th mein pairing Kari....I think u shd first fill 2 electrons as this state is lower in energy than second state...then 3rd state should be filled???....nd what abt the rest of quantum questions 4 markers

Why sir in particle in 3d box for ground state it is nx ,ny and nz =0 but for here in 3d oscillator nx ny and nz = 1 for ground state ?? Plz reply sir.

@@knowingchemistry735 Exactly opposite. For SHO there is ZPE( due to vibrational motion)for n=0 (i.e, 1/2hv) but for particle in a box problem start with n=1

Tanmoy Saha, (1,1,1) will also be considered but it will give 9/2 hw To reach till that energy level we don't have that much particle (as we have only 5 particles)

Particles will be filled According to Pauli exclusion principle. Upto 8 particles will be filled inside 5/2 h(cross) omega energy level, then 9th will go in 7/2 h(cross)omega.

@@sanmaynair when u will see the formula of energy the sum of nx ny and nz makes the energy so for (200 ) and rest sum is same so as will be their energy so 200 ,002 and 020 is also included becoz they give same energy as (110 )s..
