I've always been surprised by the level of control you have and particularly when you are throwing strikes like this. Although those strikes makes a nice thudding sound the control is there and it doesn't hurt. You can feel though that if you really wanted to take those chunks, you could to do so in the most painful and damaging of ways.

Thank you, just control is key. Training should be hard but fun.

No problem. I speak from personal experience with respects to receiving your strikes.@@alanorrwingchunacademy1302

I like the way you show it, in common videos or professional fights too often you see Wing Chunners just standing still thinking their speed is going to be fast enough to intercept and clog enemies flow and dont even have forward invasion of footwork. You are right you need to take chunks out of your enemy.

My favorite thing is simply playing around. See how a friend handles a stiff wrist push or a emptying elbow invasion.

The Gu Lao movement you show reminds me to the way Chris Collins (Leung Ting / Chen Chuen Fun) is moving in Chi Sao. Do you know him and his influences? Has Gu Lao maybe find it's way into the LT / CCF Method?

I know of Chris, we talk online. Super nice and skilled guy. I not sure if GL had any impact of LT style, I don't think so.
