I enjoy the channel like many others. Please only borrow what you need for the car, don't dig a deeper hole. As a retired person I can confirm time is your enemy now.

I used to pull an end dump around DFW. It was mostly a fun job. Low stress. Home every night. Not very physical. Strikes me it would be good job for a semi-retiree. Didn't pay as well as some other trucking jobs. And if work was slow in winter might file for UI for a couple weeks. But overall, a fun job.

Yeah you were thin and fit doing flatbed, but you were younger and didn’t need to eat properly to have the necessary energy for the day (among many other parameters to consider).

Whatever pays big $$$. Travel goes with that, you know that. I'm still long haul because it USED to pay the most, over 30+ yrs at it. Most O/O's just getting by for now. I was very surprised when you sold off everything, it takes lotta years to get to where you were at!!!

I can hook you up with my company out of chicago ..pulling RGN 2 axle, light loads, equipment, and military loads under 38,000. 30% of gross. I was making 3,000 week take home, I purchased my own truck now. They are Russian owned!

I can only do crossborder loads. Do they have any load going into/out of Canada?
@jerseycowboy117 күн бұрын
@HHTV60 I will ask them, and get back to you.

@HHTV60 Unfortunately they don't go into Canada, but you can sell your condo..and move to the USA! Haha

Flatbed with curtain side sounds like the way to go Sergei. Taxi driving doesn’t seem sustainable for you as you still have to have another job to make ends meet. Your KZbin videos would be more interesting and your views would skyrocket when you’re back behind the wheel of a semi truck for sure.

yeah, except the hiring guy is totally non-flexible: he works 8 to 4, and no weekends, and I told him, I work 7 to 5 pretty much 6 days of the week! no interview == no job :(
