I'm surprised the ProMex glove didn't burst into flames being so close to the Cleto Reyes glove.

I'm always wowed by how nice every color Cleto Reyes offers looks. That blue is really pleasing to the eye, and their red is *the* classic red. Their orange and yellow really pops too.

Bought my son a pair of the Pro Mex, they seem to be very well made from my inspection, like Carlo said they are very comfortable, stitching looks very good, all in all a very well made glove IMHO.

Pro Mex gloves are great for 99.9% of boxers. I would even argue that the ProMex will be easier on your hands long term. You won't have an issue with them. Trust me, Cleto's are amazing gloves too, but there are lots of downfalls with Cleto's that he doesn't talk about.

I punch like a freaking tank! But my hands are soft and my old bones are brittle. Do you think the Promex gloves have enough padding? I kinda like the look but really need to protect my hands.

Solid review as always. It's nice to see how them knock offs actually hold up to the actual Product their Mimicking

I have both gloves I love the pro mex way better, I feel the Rayes gloves has a harder padding to where the sounds are if your making hard solid punches to me if all sound effects , the pro you really feel the power of your punches and the sound is real and feels amazing

The reyes finger compartment is too short for me but for some reason the pro mex fits me. Dunno why they make the finger compartment longer on the knockoff but I'll take it. So far fairtex and pro mex are the only gloves that fit me and I like the pro mex better so far.

So how long would the pro mex last I’m going to buy some more expensive gloves later but I already got a pair of pro mex...
@csquaredboxing5 жыл бұрын
Just depends on how frequently you use them. Some people will last a few months some people will last longer. Durability is decent, the first thing that starts to wear down is the stitching especially on the thumb side.

Is the hand compartment bigger in the Reyes or the Pro Mex? Also, which gloves is easier to open your hand to parry? Thx

Would you happen to know the difference in the size of the hand compartment between the 12oz and 14oz Cleto Reyes gloves? I have a pair of the14oz and once broken in they are awesome but the only thing I don't like about them is the fact that they are heavy and I prefer using training gloves that are actually 14oz (or close to it). I was thinking of down the line getting a pair of 12oz but my concern is if the hand compartment is too small. With the 14oz, they were super tight initially, but once broken in they fit perfect and I'm wondering if the 12oz might be too small even when broken in
@csquaredboxing5 жыл бұрын
I haven’t tried 12 ounce Reyes but they will probably be too small based on what you’ve told me and maybe a little too restrictive even when broken in.

I've been rocking with your channel for YEARS now. Question, aside from TitleBoxing, do you have a contact within this business? Reason being, I have a few customer service issues I need to fix, and I want to go straight to the source. Let me know.

Thanks man appreciate the support! As far as title boxing goes, other than buying their gear I have no contacts there. You’ll have to contact customer support.

I'm looking for a good bag mit around the $60-$70 mark. I just ordered the Fairtex TGT7 and the glove just doesn't fit me right. The punching surface where my knucks wrest is across the fairtex logo on the back side of my palm and I have to curve my wrist at a weird angle just to land flush. I'm sending them back, any recommendations on something to replace them?
@csquaredboxing5 жыл бұрын
Yeah get the Rival RB50, they’re around the price range you’re looking and are a fantastic bag mitt with d3o technology

Is it better to get the Cleto Reyes gloves in Velcro or laced?
@csquaredboxing4 жыл бұрын
Laced gloves typically offer better wrist support, velcro is more convenient.
@CxStark4 жыл бұрын
if you always have someone to tie them for you id say laced is always better but i prefer velcro because i box alone in my room no one to tie it
