Es gibt ja ein Zubehör Zigaretten Stecker zum Laden der Powerbank, man könnte also das Gerät beim Fahren laden und beim Abstellen für Batterie Ladung erhalten? Das ganze evtl. Fix verbauen?🎉🎉

For safety whenever connecting any form of jumper leads to a battery always connect the positive first then the negative second. When disconnecting the jumper leads remove the negative first then the positive second. This also applies when removing the battery leads from the battery. If you are using a spanner and you remove the positive lead first and the spanner touches the chassis or engine you can have the battery explode in your face. If a battery explodes in your face the chance of being blinded are very very high. Chemical safety glasses are a must when working around batteries if they are not available do everything at arms length and keep your face as far away from the battery as possible.

@@Donslife You said the CTEK CS Free adaptive boost will start a vehicle with a flat battery. But in the comments sections at some KZbin videos some commenters have asked the CTEK tech team if the adaptive boost will start a vehicle that has a totally flat battery. The replies by CTEK said that the battery must have 3 percent existing charge in order for the adaptive boost to work. Obviously, a 3 percent existing charge is not a flat battery. So, if I'm in a remote area without electric power, & my car battery has only 2 percent existing charge the CTEK CS Free will do nothing to rescue me from being stranded. What type of charging would safely add (without a voltage spike) at least 1 percent charge to my battery so that the adaptive boost feature of the CTEK CS Free will actually work & start my vehicle? Until I can find a way to safely get an existing charge in my battery up to 3 percent the CTEK CS Free is not going to rescue me from being stranded. Please reply. Thanks.

Not a question related to this video (sorry)...just watched your wheel spacer video. What torque wrench are you using (obviously you trust it)?
@Donslife2 жыл бұрын
Maximum 1/2” Torque Wrench from Canadian Tire (In Canada). I am considering getting a digital one as well for some applications.

Your battery shows 8 hour light…. I got the same light and car started after 15 mins but didn’t start again so I am thinking it needs the 8 hour plugged in charge and this smart charger should stop once charged 100%. Thoughts?
@Donslife Жыл бұрын
Yes 8 hours plugged in to fully charge the battery, but to get a safe starting boost, just 15 mins even when unplugged.

Is it possible to fully charge the acu? Or is it only for jump boosting and turning the car on? I have a damn hybrid that dies in 10 days in winter... Unfortunately, I have no power source in my garage. I have a booster from NOCO, but I also wanted to find some charger that could completely charge my acu once a week (not driving too much, just for shopping).

Taken from the CTEK website: You can charge and maintain any 12V lead acid or lithium vehicle battery anywhere without being connected to a power outlet. For more info please visit: smartercharger.ca

Will this work on 12v wheel chair batteries
@Donslife11 ай бұрын
The CS FREE can adapt 10-130ah. If your 12v battery is within that range, it should be good to go

Nice review Don, what’s the feeling of jumper cable, is it comparable to SOOW cable (Excellent flexibility in cold temperatures) . Also it would be interesting to know the chemistry of the battery ( pb, lithium, Lifepo4) For a premium product at a premium price, I hope the best. Keep up the good work
@Donslife2 жыл бұрын
Hi there! Thank you for the kind words! I don't know the specific construction of the cables themselves, however they are designed to work properly in -20C temps (-4F). That means it can sit outside in those conditions while it does its job. I suspect it will perform at even lower temps with great efficiency. Keep in mind this isn't intended to release bursts of current to aid with starting, but instead introduce the appropriate amount of power into the main battery, safely, to start the vehicle. After reading your comment I left them outside in -15C for a couple hours and they remained flexible, unlike so cheap jumper cables I have that needed encouragement to bend to shape I needed. The internal battery chemistry of the CS FREE is Polymer Lithium-Ion in a Pouch Cell form factor.
