CTFxC Separation Tribute!

I've been watching CTFxC for the last 5 years. I've been there for all the ups like 'the proposal' and downs like 'the brain slug'. Something I've learned over the last 5 years is "Once a CTFxCer always a CTFxCer!" The CTFxC family is always there for Charles and Alli when they needed it and they were always there for us to reassure us and help us best they could! They have been my role models my heroes! They were the original KZbin couple! No one would have ever seen this coming. It is a great shock to us all, but we must remain positive and help eachother and both Charles and Alli through it!

I remember watching their videos months before the "seperation" video. They were rarely together and recorded videos by themselves or with other people. When they were together it was strained. I think after the brain surgery Charles became more of a homebody and was afraid to go out because of the seizures. Plus that kind of an evasive surgery can change personalities vastly. One video that jumped out at me was with Alli at Target with one of her friends doing shit that she and Charles uses to do back in the day. Charles of course was at home (at least from the video it looked that way) I started to sense that there was some unhappiness that they were not showing their fans. Does it suck, yeah, but I'm not going to judge or damn them for living their lives. I'm glad they found happiness again. For the people who hate on Allie for no reason other than they think she's not smart enough. That's a pretty fucking sad excuse and you should take a step back and realize that she hasn't done anything to you personally. Your opinion means less then nothing and you're a pathetic human being for saying anything that cruel.

The change in Charles is pretty evident, particularly over the past 8-9 months. He seems to have become a completely different character all of a sudden, everything seems forced and fake. Unfortunate, as it appears to have lost him a great number of fans since the breakup, and he has emerged from the situation with a largely tarnished reputation.

This is what kinda scares me, we search for so long to find "the one". When we think we've found them anything can change in the blink of an eye and they aren't there anymore. It scares me to become so attached to someone, fall so deeply in love, and then just have them ripped away or have things fall apart. Thank god Charles has found happiness in Allie, he deserves it.

I stayed away from relationships in middle school through high school because I knew none of that would ever be love. A true relationship has two people who want to work together, compromise together, grow together, and wish to stand together through all the difficulties life can give. This is possible only if the love was truly there for both counterparts. As well as if both counterparts came into the relationship because they wanted something long term. So yes, most relationships end and will end. But it is in fact the easy way out. As you got into a relationship without thinking about how to make the relationship last. Then when things in life change you allowed that to come inbetween it. If the love is there abd continues to strengthen there is no reason why the easy way out should ever be an option. Because you want to make it work with a person. Because you want to improve for each other. Because you want to change and compromise for each other.

I envied Charles. Alli is the epitome of an amazing wife. I personally don't like Charles anymore. Him moving on so quickly like the 2+ years of Marriage to Alli & all that they had been through together didn't matter anymore. I guess being a Rockstar is more important than loving the people that are there for you, in sickness & in health. Being that I have been a CTFxC viewer since 2009, I have watched them get engaged, then married, He joins WTK, they travel the world & have 2 awesome dogs & a nice home in Florida. From what it sounds like from Charles and Alli's comments about the divorce is that Charles was just growing apart from her. Alli was there for Charles through out everything. Theres no denying that. She was ALWAYS there. But the reality of it is that sometimes when one person is always there and the other one isn't.. it's going to cause a lot of hurt. And I know Charles had cancer. But it wasn't that. Alli was there for him through all the struggles and hard times. But once Charles started to finally get better he went off to play bass for We The Kings. Charles got cancer not long after getting married, and then after he went off and started living his dreams. But while he was living his dreams, he was leaving Alli behind. She made a comment on the vidcon panel saying "She felt like her spouses shadow". And if you look at the vlogs..she was. Charles was living his dream and touring all the time. But Alli was at home taking care of the dogs and editing the videos. She had no purpose in the relationship other then take care of things. They never got to be a married couple. It was cancer and then he left. I'm not blaming Charles for living his dream. I mean it's amazing he gets to do what he does. But what I AM saying is that Alli was left behind in the process. She was in his shadow. The divorce was just simply Alli saying she wants to be her own person. Make her own life. And have her own life to live. Not always being referred to Charles Trippy's wife. Or her being in his shadow while he is out having fun. Being away all the time is hard in a relationship. I think he thought about what was more important. His dream job or his dream girl. And I guess Alli just isn't his dream girl anymore. It's sad. And I feel for Alli personally. His priorities were different. But it's sad that he decided to pick a job over his family. And it's sad that Alli is being blamed for it when really it was just Charles decision. It's his life. But if he actually loved Alli as much as we thought he did, then he would of made HIS LIFE, THEIR life.

Oh so it couldn't have had anything to do with her going off drinking and partying while her husband sat at home alone thinking how his world was coming down around him. He had to make a decision about what he wanted for his life and he decided to be happy. They were having issues before he got sick and she was definitely partly to blame. I'm starting to wonder if his tumour is the reason for their separation. Not because of Alli, but because frontal lobe tumours can cause personality and behaviour changes. I'm curious about whether that was a factor, because it seems highly improbable that they just fell out of love, and if they really cut all of the fighting out, that would've been a lot of editing.

I started watching Charles and Alli when I was 11 and I started when they started their vlogs. I watched Charles' videos before that and I never missed their vlogs. Then this divorce came, I cried, then I saw Charles' new girlfriend. And I stopped.. I move on quickly, but not a couple of weeks! I now am mad at Charles, I loved them both. All Monsters Are Human I understand that sentiment. Maybe it's an assumption that we all make, that if it's "true" love, is supposed to last *forever.* But it seems the reality is that love, like life, is ever-changing; there's simply no way for any of us to know with absolute security that either our partner or indeed ourselves won't change and grow in different directions, to the point that the relationship is no longer going to work. Does that mean the love that you had wasn't true? I certainly don't know the answer to that myself, but it seems possible that a love could be true and sincere for a period of time... and then life continues along and down its path. Not that this makes the pain of relationships ending any easier.

It is love but it is not a love that support a marriage. They just don't have much in common and for Alli she'd have to give a lot of her to reach Char .. which she obviously started doing but couldn't maintain. I am glad they are not together because they would not make each other happy.

The truth about it is, we don't know what the real reasons were that Ali & Charles separated. And It's really none of our business, people break up all the time. I have my opinions on what I think happened but that doesn't mean I'm right or know. The only people who truly know what happened are Ali, Charles, close friends & family of their's! As much as this sucks that their not together anymore. We have to move on & be happy for both of them!

This is why marriage is so stupid. You do the proposal and it's all sweet and teary-eyed, then you plan a wedding and all your friends and family come and it's all awws and butterflies and then like a fart, you get divorced. When you look back at all the corny movie stuff that everyone does, the proposal and the wedding, and then get divorced, it just completely blows away all that supposedly sacred ceremony stuff. Can you imagine going to someone's wedding and the whole ceremony is so sacred and then they divorce? I can, because I've gone to tons of those weddings only to have them divorce. So hilariously dumb. This sappy music and then the sacred wedding ceremony and all the people taking it so serious and then BAM, divorce. That's why those jokes in movies are so good when they go at weddings, "I give it a year." BECAUSE IT'S SO DAMN TRUE. :)

Alli really loved him, you can tell from the way she looked at him when he proposed to her. Unlike the other Allie when he proposed to her it felt like her reaction was very faked, it didn't feel real.
