From what it sounds like from Charles and Alli's comments about the divorce is that Charles was just growing apart from her. Alli was there for Charles through out everything. Theres no denying that. She was ALWAYS there. But the reality of it is that sometimes when one person is always there and the other one isn't.. it's going to cause a lot of hurt. And I know Charles had cancer. But it wasn't that. Alli was there for him through all the struggles and hard times. But once Charles started to finally get better he went off to play bass for We The Kings. Charles got cancer not long after getting married, and then after he went off and started living his dreams. But while he was living his dreams, he was leaving Alli behind. She made a comment on the vidcon panel saying "She felt like her spouses shadow". And if you look at the vlogs..she was. Charles was living his dream and touring all the time. But Alli was at home taking care of the dogs and editing the videos. She had no purpose in the relationship other then take care of things. They never got to be a married couple. It was cancer and then he left. I'm not blaming Charles for living his dream. I mean it's amazing he gets to do what he does. But what I AM saying is that Alli was left behind in the process. She was in his shadow. The divorce was just simply Alli saying she wants to be her own person. Make her own life. And have her own life to live. Not always being referred to Charles Trippy's wife. Or her being in his shadow while he is out having fun. Being away all the time is hard in a relationship. I think he thought about what was more important. His dream job or his dream girl. And I guess Alli just isn't his dream girl anymore. It's sad. And I feel for Alli personally. His priorities were different. And it's sad that it ended this way. :/

Lack of mutual respect for each other is what destroyed the relationship. 2. Marriage in this country is treated like microwavable food. That's just sad. I don't think some people really understand. Yes, of course it's perfectly fine that they've divorced. I completely understand, my parents are divorced. There was a lot of arguing, etc, so obviously they separated. But the thing that almost upsets me the most, is the fact that Charles has ALREADY got a girlfriend! Well, they are entitled to their own privacy. No one needs to know their relationship issues. If you've got to give thousands of people a reason, it's as good as that's going to get. I've been on that edge before too and I got married five months after they did, so it's not even like I've had a lifetime of experience. Stuff got really dark and extremely tough but I made some sacrifices and adjustments and I've been giving it all I got (same for my husband). So far what I've been doing has been working. If it were easy, everyone would do it.

I remember when I first started watching CTFxC. I was 11 years old. I'm 16 now, and within 5 years I've seen these two get engaged, get married, get a new dog, see Charles join We The Kings, see Charles be diagnosed with cancer, see Charles drive to Starbucks on a golf cart multiple times a week (lol), but most importantly, I've seen Charles battle cancer like a champ with the unconditional love and support from Alli. Much love to Charles and Alli. I'm so glad I got to witness and be apart of the lives of such beautiful people. You two truly have touched my life even it was through a computer screen. I will continue to support you both no matter where your lives are headed, just like I have since day 1. It's a sad day for me.

Charles i know i don't know all the details, but i've been with my fiance for 6 yrs and sure we argue, sometimes we're pissed at eachother for more than a week. But marriage is something you shouldn't take for granted and just give up on. You've built a life together, you should do your best to work it out. This is so weird to me. Like thousands of other people I have tons of questions, and after the most recent videos even more questions. I had some hope for a while that Alli and Charles would try to work things out better so that they wouldn't have to get divorced, and after I realized it was going to maybe just Charles for the remainder of CTFxC, I tried hanging on as well, watching just Charles, and after a while it just got too different, something was missing, and that was Alli. There was just something about Alli that made me want to watch the vlogs more. A couple of months of fighting isn't a reason to get divorced,you guys went through cancer,several travelling trips and the band tour in the last few months which is enough to stress any couple. I suggest going to a marriage counsellor instead of throwing several years of marriage.

I wasn't angry when this happened, but it was unfortunately where I stopped watching. I saw that Charles and Allie had a baby, and I'm super happy for them. It's weird to think that this much time has passed, to where Charles and Allie have been together longer than the old Charles and Allie.

This is so strange to watch 3 years later. It was heart breaking to watch this originally. It was uncomfortable to continue watching things change in his life, change is never easy. But I'm so glad I stuck around. He is so happy now. Allie Wes has brought so much love and positivity to his life. Now he has reached day 3000. What a wild ride. Can't wait to see what the future holds.

It's a scary thing to go through, as the kid and the parent. My parents have been married for 24 or 25 years, still they fight everyday. It's not something we wanted to hear from Charles, even Alli if she had made a video, I can tell you now that I want it to be a joke. I want the video tomorrow to be about this being a joke, but that won't happen. It's not a joke, this time. It hurts, as if they were my parents, as odd as it sounds. Even if Alli stops doing the vlogs with Charles, I will never forget her and how she impacted my life. I don't think anyone will. And even if they do go through with this, I'm still going to watch the vlogs, they're my only escape from all that goes wrong. Sorry for the kind of long comment, just something that is still on my shoulders, no matter how much I say it.

Their divorce happened cause they were no longer getting along. Arguing for a few months is a sign that they are no longer able to continue the marriage. And they most likely tried to make it work before giving up on the relationship. I never been married or been in a serious relationship. But I know enough that if two people are truly unhappy, it is their decision to split or not. We're not really in their shoes to completely understand what had happened between them or what they argued about. All we know is that this is what decided to do and is probably the right thing to do.

Of course. I'm sure there is more to the story. Again, we're not in their shoes. Therefore, we don't the complete story. But if they're happy now, then I guess it's all good. If I were to be in a relationship, i'm sure I would want to work it out as much as I can. And i'm sure most feel this way. Overall, it was heartbreaking to find out they divorced. Although, they're doing good now and that's something we should focus on.
