People are so cynical. He was an artist and was not aware of deaths until much later. He did not organize the event. He has some responsibility, but so does the crowd in that case. He’s not the one responsible for the deaths. People suing him just do it so they can potentially get paid, they don’t give a crap about what happened. Travis is known to be an awkward, not so talkative person. Of course he feels remorse but since he’s not good at explaining himself, you’re not gonna get much out of him. I am not defending him, he has his faults and he is definitely partially responsible. But people make it out like he’s the main person to blame. He did not organize this, Live Nation did. Edit: For sake of clarification, I am talking about the general people suing him, not the ones who had members pass away. That is, of course, justified.

@@TheMessenger212 You don’t get it. When you “sell your soul” you don’t get to decide that anymore. You become property to the label along with your masters. The amount of money you actually make versus what the execs and producers make is far less than what’s portrayed Purposely. The Devil tells on himself always, because he cannot hide from God. And the fact that people are offed for their success reaching different levels is somehow him not wanting this? We all have choices as artists who we’re gonna give the glory to and an artist will be driven by either Christ or antichrist meaning anything worldly to make songs. All of them do it, I even do it. I chose Christ, because I’m here to shake stuff up, not be like somebody else or sell out for easy money and stardom. A lot of the times it’ll be depiction of where they’re going. I’ve got a song about reaching Heaven and this guy certainly has songs about reaching hell. Don’t be a fool! He can be saved, because you cannot actually sell your soul, but the label doesn’t want him to go with their enemy, Jesus Christ.

Also speaking from personal experience after going through something traumatic it can make you appear emotionless on the outside. You just don’t know what to say or how to respond. You don’t know what that’s like until you experience it and then when people call you out on it it doesn’t matter what you say they still think you don’t give a fuck. I have been on that side of things and I know what it’s like and it sucks. I really wish that people would back off of him and anyone else that has this type of response. If he didn’t care he wouldn’t have done this interview. He also has waited to drop his album that he was supposed to drop out of respect for the families of the deceased so I’m pretty sure he does care. I think we could also put some responsibility on the crowd and the security who literally wouldn’t pull anybody out unless they were already unconscious or dead. If he would’ve stopped the show there could’ve been riots making things 10 times worse and if anybody actually had any care about what was going on then there may have been a panic also making things 10 times worse. Because everybody would’ve been trying to leave at the same time and trampling people on the way out.

this is so facts also theres full on videos breaking down the crowd movement there was a sza concert that ended and every rushed to the travis show from that and that happens to be the same area all of the 8 ppl died 🤔not to mention an earpiece, lights, so many mixed signals could make it hard to even see your fans. they located where people were chanting to stop the show and they were all the way in the back 😂 of 50,000+ people. there was a collision in crowd movement and that is the location the 8 people died there were interviews people said they didn’t even know ppl were getting hurt. for people who ACTUALLY have a life and go to fun shows and mosh you would know how it is when you spend a large amount of money to see an artist you really like that artist, adrenaline makes you go wild and that happened to everyone there. Its not travis scotts fault, its hard to stop his festival show in general and on too of that all these factors permitting him from doing so. it was a shitty venue, security was bad, and people rushed the stage along with a highly unexpected amount of people who broke in. Travis scott stops the show multiple times more than he usually does to help people passed out. some people aren’t ready to go to a travis scott show. why would you bring your kid to a travis show and then there was a girl who looked like a rich, clout chasing, d bag who probably was there for the instagram post. travis scott is a nervous person by nature so this is making it worse dont come after him if you arent a fan or anyway connected to rap music stick to ur stupid indie rock shit and mind ya business of what happen here last words, you cant cancel lafalme 😈

It’s genuinely crazy how your still stuck in the mindset that it was his fault, when he spent this whole 50 minute interview explaining the difficulty of controlling 50 thousand people, and the worst of the worst unfortunately happened. As a huge Travis fan that’s been to his shows a few times it’s really disappointing to hear him not talk about how his actions during the show had an effect on what ended up happening here. Charlagmane should have showed him the actual footage of what he said when the ambulance was in the crowd because he clearly states “what the fuck, why is there an ambulance in the crowd” and then in the interview he’s trying to deny he even knew it was an ambulance. Also he literally spent 5/10 seconds checking if everything was okay before saying “I wanna see the ground shake goddamit”. Is just not good enough and he knows that, this could have happened at any of his shows in the last few years if the safety precautions were as bad as they were at astroworld. I get what he’s saying about the safety not being good enough and that is important but you also have to look at what you did, especially when people lost their lives. Is just not good enough and won’t stand up in court in my opinion. RIP to all the people that passed and sincere condolences to all the families, I hope that when the court case happens and all the evidence is presented in front of trav from past concerts and what he said at this concert he will realize but not too sure after watching this… very disappointing

To be completely honest, people need to shut the fuck up and think about how it would be to be in his position during something like this. Everyones clowning him for his apologies sounding "not genuine". The way he talks is the way he has always talked about everything and anyone. He has apologized numerous times and there's really nothing else he can do. People are talking about how he doesn't have any empathy or car but again, everyone saying that has no idea how hard it is to be in his position. He cares and he means it. As far as the concert itself goes, I will stand by the fact that it wasn't really his fault. During the show it was dark outside and people were backed up for a mile. He's not fucking magician, most of what happened occurred farther in the back where he legitimately couldn't see it. Some people were also screaming for him to stop, he has headphones in and glasses on. There was a video of two people climbing backstage and telling camera crew and security to stop the show. NOT TRAVIS. Security is there for a reason and they didn't do their job. There was one situation that happened in the front of the crowd that Travis stopped the show for until it was safe because he could FUCKING SEE IT. He can't magically control thousands upon thousands of people to behave perfectly, he's a human, understand that.

Travis choosing to be this vauge and monotone almost makes him seem dismissive to what happened at Astroworld, in my opinion. I'm floored he agreed to do an interview, and chose the route of showing hardly any emotion and leaving out all details. I still havent felt any sincerity from him about the situation... The initial response he gave the morning after put off bad vibes, he looked hungover and stressed, but in no way emotionally disturbed by the people he had part in the death of. Now this. I am just confused. He claims hes hurting, but honestly I really feel its due to financial loss and pressure from his loved ones and peers to make this right before things get worse. The documentary put out on the situation said multiple times that it is rare for someone to Die at a concert. So why has Travis had this happen at his events multiple times now? Bad luck? I dont think so... I just want a genuine apology and some responsibility taken for shooing the crew members who were trying to inform him of what was going on, off stage. I want to know the camera crew guys have been fired for threatening innocent fans trying to get help. I want this made right and I think a lot of others agree.

Travis did himself no favors with this interview. Regardless of how many contributors were at fault, his name is on this. A true professional would’ve acknowledged that. Getting down to the bottom of what’s happened is long gone. Lives were lost as a result, and he needs to own up to the fact that things were not handled adequately.
@FlyHy892 жыл бұрын
How did these people die are reports saying they got trampled to death?
@lopilkderlll2 жыл бұрын
I agree, but at the same time, I don’t think he should take responsibility for lives lost. He didn’t realize the extent of the situation and taking responsibility for the deaths of 10 people is a lot for anyone to take on, psychologically. He was negligent in stopping the event, but not culpable in the individual casualties.
@TheOneShorter2 жыл бұрын
The longer he waits the more solid the public opinion becomes about who is responsible. If he didn't start talking now and just wait for the trial, people would think he's guilty whether he's found guilty or not. Public image ruined, and he can't apologize either, or else the prosecution will have a field day. This is the best he could do and people aren't realizing that.
@FoButter2 жыл бұрын
@@lopilkderlll I respectfully disagree. He has a clear history of telling fans to disregard the security. He helped cultivate the atmosphere amongst his fans that chaos is acceptable and that mentality may have lead to these deaths. There are countless videos of other artists able to quickly recognize and react to issues within the crowd (i.e. fights, assaults, crowd crushing, etc.). Somehow Travis Scott allegedly had no idea what was happening and a total disregard for the crowd attitude they cultivate (i.e. large, unruly crowd). I do not lay ALL the blame at his feet; there must be organizers his team leaned on for logistics but still.............at any point he or his management could have called up the security chief for a debrief. This sad situation was some mix of extreme negligence, ignorance, narcissism and/or amateurism on all parties involved.
