@cavaleer
@cavaleer 2 жыл бұрын
Actually he's twisted and warped most of what he's talking about. Very few of the Founders were wealthy upon arrival and almost all of the signers lost everything in the ensuing years. The Constiitutional Convention applied to everyone BUT slaves. What he and virtually everyone forgets is that plenty of black Americans were FREE at that time and even more in the coming years and decades. But he only knows how to view things from a Victim-Villain false antithesis. It's typical of his generation, whom I love btw, but facts are facts. The difference is he knows that Money is Power. But what he doesn't understand is that Money without Organization, is like pouring water in a desert. Utterly useless. So WHAT and HOW exactly does one organize??? On what premise, what foundation? Skin-Color Identity? Good luck with that. The last 200 years have shown how well that works. An organizing principal must be DEEPER.

@cavaleer I don’t understand your points. Is his interpretation of history wrong? Weren’t the writers of the Constitution among the wealthiest in society?Amendments 1 through 12 doesn’t advance white society? The federal government didn’t make a land available for white immigrants to leap frog over blacks and create a generational wealth disparity? Are you making a case that Dr. Anderson sounds like a crackpot?

I’m 35 just hit my career stride and am making great money. My wife makes great money too. We have a toddler. Dr. Claud says: “There are no black communities in the United States” This hits so hard when you are black, and looking for a community to buy a home and send your kid to school. ALL of the best neighborhoods with the best schools and homes force you to be an extreme minority if you choose to buy and move to one. It’s really frustrating and sad. It makes you realize what it truly means to be an oppressed minority in this country.

You just said you and your wife make good money yet call yourself oppressed? No, you just have an inferiority complex. So what you’re the minority in your community? Focus on your family and raise them up to be successful so that we can have more generations of successful black americans in this country but unfortunately a lot of black families are teaching them the opposite because they bought into the “woe as me we’ll always be the minority” narrative. Stand up.

@@christopherdavenport2424at 12% of the US population we are indeed a minority, but this doesn't matter at all. Jews and East Asians are minorities with extraordinarily disproportionate wealth and power.
@SoothUrMental
@SoothUrMental Ай бұрын
@@christopherdavenport2424 I don't think the word "minority" matters in what @livennlearn said as much as the word "COMMUNITY". Blacks need to understand how important the network of community is to the development of the Black Nation and how important it is to our empowerment. All other groups who come to this country understand the importance of helping one another to get ahead as a group.

A better approach for you would be this: "It's great that a brother is listening to financial advice. If you'd like we can exchange information. " Instead you take the angry father approach to get info that I may prove that I'm doing something to pass your test. Then you'll probably go into what your doing to show that it's more than me to flex, which is the mentality which we're trying to avoid.

We need our dollars to circulate amongst each other before leaving our community.We now just have neighborhoods where other ethnic groups of ppl can come and set up businesses and take our money out of our community.They wouldn’t let us do the same to them , (and by the way these ppl come from countries living in squalor)Our wealthy and Celebrity blacks have to move into other ethnic groups communities because we don’t have any all black wealthy communities where they can feel safe among wealthy blacks like them.So that’s tax and spending dollars leaving us to go into helping build other peoples communities.
