I just went to a Jazzfest to see Ali Ryerson, world renowned flautist and Downbeat's top choices in their annual poll. I'm going to be 73 in May, 2024. Say it with music!

Sérgio Morais you are correct, sir! O---M----G! The CTI years were a big influence on me, and I was so lucky to have been at an early-70's concert in L.A., maybe the Palladium. Freddie Hubbard and Stanley Turrentine were two of the big stars then. And Hubert, what an incredible lasting talent and virtuoso he is! I'm still trying to master my flute embouchure along with my flugelhorn and alto sax, and still find it so challenging!
