How could something so beautiful, wise and simple be so difficult? On the one hand I know that apart from God I can do Nothing; yet on the other hand I struggle to hand myself, my life over in trust to the Lord. Is it such pride, lack of trust? Who else can be trusted but the Lord? I am trying to remember that prayer of St. Ignatius of Loyola (I think)... ...Lord I give you all my freedom, my memory, my intellect, my will, my life...all that I am and all that I have, You have given to me. I give it all back to you now Lord. Do with me what you will. Yet, please Give me your Grace to do your will o Lord, and that is enough for me, and I will ask for nothing more. Amen.🙏 I probably mangled that badly, I'm sorry. That is such a profoundly moving prayer to me. I just pray that someday my side of it will become a reality, and the Lord will make good use of me, and transform me into the person He created me to be. I'm nearly 60 and I still have such a hard time surrendering my will and my life day to day.

this week at work, the boss and coworkers made me a great injustice about Holidays program of working. I mean some people are off on 24 dec and 31 dec, and me, I work both days. Of course very upset on God first loll😂😂😂why you don want me go to to Midnight Mass? dec 24th? He was pretty kind in the next day and told me in my heart : it s an injustice. but you must forgive them ,bcz you re working with them daily and yess...this is what I m asking you... For your peace of heart, take your time, but ask Me and I will help to get through that process. today dec 26, i was at peace with everybody 🤗🙏 thanks be to God.

It's hard when God's Will for you is for you or someone you love to suffer greatly. God is there....as like Solzhenitsyn found God in the gulag. But when He says, 'you must suffer for the good of your soul or that of another,' it's hard. But I suppose it can be a test of your willingness to surrender, and perhaps break your will to align it more with His if you allow it. Thank you Fr. Thank you for continuing to help me understand God and the AA program better. I felt guilty yesterday as I missed my obligation to attend mass but in hosting an AA meeting in the centre of the church (therefore the centre of the cross) later Xmas day I realised that God knew when he needed me there. He wants me to be sober, help others and to be free from anxiety.

Merry Christmas! This got me good. I’m recovering from surgery. Nothing major, had to fix my foot. As a result, I can’t walk unless it’s going to the bathroom we’re going to bed. I need to stay off my feet as much as possible which means I have to allow my husband to take care of me which is so hard for me to do. Being retired full-time mother, I was used to being in the caretaker. It’s so hard to ask for help and to be as helpless as a child. Been trying to see what God is teaching me through this situation and I think He just gave me my answer through you.

Do your lousy best to make your plans 😂 I thank God for the illusion of religion through channels like these to sustain us in times when the church can no longer be relied upon to provide the sacraments. We can trust that in such circumstances, Christ forgives us if we die un baptized or unreconciled of mortal sins, without last rites, and in every state of abject profanity. The truth is when you most need the church is when you will have to live and die alone, without the mass, without any of the sacraments, and rely on scripture, simple faith, simple repentance between you and God, and your own understanding of religious matters, along with your own prayers. Surrender all reliance on the sacraments and formal worship and gratefully accept what is left to believers when the institutions fail. I pray future generations inherit a less impoverished church, and once again have access to sanctification through the holy sacraments. I pray for more vocations, enough to shepherd the entire flock. I pray for more committed and courageous believers to defend the church and ensure it can fulfill its promises. I pray for the revival of the irl Christian community and the irl Holy Spirit.

I dont know if this may help anyone but for me, as i wake up I think, "Seek first the kingdom of God" I pray the lords prayer Ive been praying for spiritual communion and for him to be the achietect of all paths, as he was with jerimaiah Then as i shower i day good morning to God and thank him for the day. I try to be present and not in old thoughts. To find this little routine has been a blessing and i am so thankful for Jesus who has saved me. 🙏 ❤ peace and love to you all.
