Would you mind sharing what PID's are important to keep an eye on and what the ranges should be set at for a completely stock 2004 F350 6.0 powerstroke that pulls a 7k race trailer? Thanks, Brian

On the 6.0-Oil temperature, coolant temperatures, trans temperature, boost pressure, FICM voltage, LPOP pressure, HPOP . Probably a few others but those are the basics.

I'm confused with the cts3 evolution and insight can they both go on the 6.0 or does it need the cts3 insight?

Evolution tunes, insight is just a digital monitor to watch temps etc.

You can now upgrade the cts3 monitor to a tuner at anytime for around $200. There are still a couple PIDs that I haven't been able to monitor like Fan speed and Intake Air Temp 2 . And the corrected Speed isn't accurate. But other than that I like mine.

Three turbos in 100k. Something is really wrong. I’m at 150K on my original turbo.

Yes replaced by ford. They told him he needed to drive the truck harder the first time and that he was driving the truck to hard the second time. The turbo that I took apart was a reman by ford turbo that looked like it had 200,000 miles on it. The ford reman turbos are known for issues.

If the truck has a sensor for it you can. Other wise you can add the expandable circuit for pressures, temps, etc.
