You came from a different time and different mindset. Hardwork and being a man was not under assault as it is today. Then the Black community did not by into all of the bullshit that makes the people soft today. I see differences and New Orleans is no different . Keep bringing back successful people from the old school because we need to hear the unpolitically correct , the unashamed and the unapologetic version of success.

Dammit Boy. You done said a book full of real shit with one paragraph. Best statement of the day
@energizedc5 жыл бұрын
@@Jackmerius_Tacktheritrix5733 when you politicians like the little Hugo Chavez AOC telling people capitalism dosen' t work for you , you should be getting a living wage weather you are or not , yeah hardwork is under assault. When you have a participation trophy culture coupled with many state high school athletic associations going the soft route with having all high schools regardless of record are able to play in the playoffs hardwork is under assault. If you are too successful you are assumed to have cheated . You are toi competitive, you shouldn't feel you need to win or have high expectations, hardwork is under assault. Most people are turning to mentors that push you, they are not trying to be better, that is a small percentage of people that are doing what it takes to be successful. I don't care about what other people think . I am paying attention to what I do , stay vigilant about that assault on Success. All who believe in this soft , non competitive , participation culture we are living in regardless of background and color you need to stay away from me ,you are not who I spend most of my time with.

As someone who is into yoga as a means to build a stronger body. That man is 100% correct you do not do a stretching routine. You do an intentional movement and then do a counter that builds the muscles in balance. You try to do otherwise and you are asking for injury.

I love Compton, when I moved from New Orleans Louisiana I moved to Compton, on Laurel St near Compton Blvd, I fell in love with Compton because I felt I never left home actually, I was treated like family by every resident there. I'm currently living in Boyle Heights and I hate it here so I would love to move back to Compton because I feel right at home. Compton's spirit is very much like the New Orleans spirit, we are loving and caring people and we fight when needed while not allowing anyone to deny us our rights to be the best we can be.

The first time I knew John Brown was in Mr. Canarias in 1980. He came with Mr. California tittle. Fantastic shape and fenition and super poser. He was the first star invite. The second star was someone who listened . He came one week after winning again his Mr. Universe NABBA professional. The one and only, Sergio Oliva. The myth. Two years later, in 1982 John Brown comeback to Las Palmas. He won Mr. Universe NABBA overall amateur and really looking good. With more size and with awesome definition and super vascularity. Really great guy and great person.
