While there may be some valid critiques regarding exercise order and technique, it’s incredible to see this father and sons lifting together. This right here is what you call muscle endurance workouts.. this the type of shit we did when I played D1 ball and professional football.. they did all this shit in 45 minutes.. now thats the real time under tension.. I'm 41 years old, and I still do these workouts and field train as if I'm still playing.. I'll never stop

Think of it like training for better strength stamina. For such a physical sport like football, your muscles need to be be able to execute with quick breaks and for the whole duration of the game. Even for building mass, my body responds better to supersets because of reduced time under tension. Also recommended for those who don’t have time to be in a gym for 2+ hours

A very interesting approach to training. They don't use much full range of motion or controlled eccentric movements.

They're not training for size, they're training for explosiveness. Slow eccentrics is a body building technique. If you want to increase the % of fast twitch muscle fibres speed and explosiveness of the concentric is more important. They're also using momentum to train past the point a lot of bodybuilders would consider failure.

Short bursts heavy duty. The more I see weight training 💪🏽 and muscle stimulation videos more I see Mike Mentzer was correct. He believed you can do short lifts more weights with significant rest points. Replenish the body with water and well balanced diets. At of people today try to over complicate working out.
