Toronto CIty Hall has been incompetent starting with David Crombie, Eggleton, Sewall, and the cancelling of the Spadina Expressway which denied the city of a mid town expressway which makes or breaks a city from being cosmopolitcan. There is no way to get into the heart of this city at high speed. So this city lacks a backbone spine and it therefore dysfunctional and paraplegic in structure. It is a city in a wheel chair and will be doomed to such without a midtown expressway.

A key component of the ward review was--"Make sure the number of people in each ward is similar." The census figures for the 47 ward distribution shows a low of 28,665 in Ward 21and 72,620 in Ward 18. Toronto failed to be fair and follow their own objective. Ford has done the right thing for democracy.

Well, let's try running the city of Toronto with 25 councillors. We have tried it with 44 and it was not working all that well. Politicians must understand government needs downsizing, restructuring just like a business does from time to time.
