@@kevinmo1 Melu needs Oberon because at Turn 3 she only has a 30% Charge. Vortigern needs the Charger to have their 50% separate. Meaning He's locked from Using Summer Skadi which gives the next best Damage buffs for Buster DPS

caster cu can also 3 turn with a koyanskaya, oberon, atals mystic code and black grail, this removes his freedom to use mystic codes, but can sevearly lower party cost compared to the koyan, koyan, oberon setup and give a better damage value then the koyan koyan setup Also if you really want to lower party cost, Seeker of Miracles is a fp 3 star ce with full damage scaling and 25% np damage up

Really useful Information! It's a good way to efficiently use & level up Atlas MC with him while still maintaining good W3 damage. If anyone's interested, here's the skill order I tried out (for a 10/x/10 CasCú): Stage 1 Order -> Oberon S1, Cú S1 + S3, Koyanskaya S1 + S3 (+S2) on Cú Stage 2 Order -> Atlas MC on Cú, Cú S1 + S3 Stage 3 Order -> Oberon S2 + S3 on Cú

Cú with Black Grail, Oberon and Koyanskaya with the skill reduce MC is insane. I grailed him to 90, so worth it.

Note: you can farm with cu with 1 oberon and 1 Koyanskaya Turn 1 3rd skill Then 1st The oberon first one Then Koyanskaya first one Turn 2 Atlas mc cooldown reduction And press his first and 3rd skill again Turn 3 Oberon 2nd and 3rd skill to end everything and hes doing a very good damage around 600k on neutral

Cu Caster was actually my first early game caster. At the time I didn't have any other casters summoned yet and his wicker man was so hilarious to me so I used him exclusively till much later on when I got some 5 star summons

I'm going to have a lvl 120 Caster Cu after he hits bond 15 (calculated intentionally). Been using him ever since the game's release and NP5ed him I believe close to GudaGuda 1 era, though I'd argue the best time to have used him was actually during Saber Wars 1 where he was a rare servant who could solo the final farmable node back in an era where we weren't 3 turn farming and actually needed the event damage CE to play the level reasonably in lieu of better resources being available in the future (I have a video example on my channel for anyone curious). CasCu's durability also was generally really handy for a lot of early story content especially when most Demon pillars had class disadvantage against him. The other good thing about post-LB6 CasCu that you didn't mention is his insane battery also works well for multi-core setups when you need something other than a Caster for class advantage on the final wave. He can almost substitute Arash in a sense because it's really easy to double NP with him, and his NP thanks to the preemptive Buster buff hits fairly hard without dedicated CEs. So even outside of his optimal niche of Koyan looping he still can contribute really well to farming on a broader scale.

Four months later and I finally managed to max out Cas Cu's third skill, and he's more than pulled his weight. He's proven to be more efficient at 3-turning the 90+ node of the Santa Martha event than my NP2 Morgan, though I did have to have to grail him to 80 and max out his silver Foes (also had to run Aerial Drive on him to further maximize his damage, not to mention he's also NP5, which was the main reason I switched to using him in this node as not only did he have a class advantage, but he also had a higher NP level). And no, I'm not mad I had to grail Cu because I always had planned to do so because I like Cu as a character, it's just that I hardly got the chance to do so. Kinda sucks that his biggest upgrade is story-locked to Avalon Le Fay, but it's definitely worth the weight.

Too bad they wont change the currency required for story banner or something and just give out that on daily/weekly quests. Having a massively bloated story banner full of old units using the same currency as the new meta limited units is a really questionable design choice after several years.

I managed to get him to NP2 on the first Morgan banner, and his NP is a faster animation than Caster Nero, so he's my go to farming caster. NP speed is important for me.

He is amazing now with all his buffs and absolutely worth the lores you need to give him to fit in the double Vitch system. I've seen more and more people in my friendlist grailing him to 80 and further, most likely because of his sudden jump from zero to hero.

Ah, shit. Only got 3 Cas Cus on the LB6 rolls. Means I got him at NP5, but it also means I can't farm with him until he hits bond 9. Well, not without plugging in Oberon which is admittedly optimal for damage, but still would enjoy the choice of when I use that set-up and when I just use Koyans. Servant Coins can be such a pain in the ass. Wish you could exchange currency for them. Shitty as it'd be, I'd at least appreciate the option of throwing prisms, rare prisms or pure prisms at the shop for some coins.

I just checked my Cu...despite having him on NP 5 and Bond 5 I only have 55 coins. I was actually rolling a lot of story banner few years ago. Before the coins. Now when he suddenly got super useful I can't level append unless i try to roll for servant that I already got on NP 5. Small indie company at works sigh...

I burned this guy by accident on launch and regretted it everyday for 6 years. I kept pulling story for him but no luck until 2 weeks before Morgan banner. Then on Morgan banner I finished my NP5 CuCas. Insta maxed 10/10/10. Locked and will never burn again

Ever since I got the Honey Lake CE my Hans and Caster Cu has become inseparable. The Burn Special Attack works like an Ignore Evade for me. I didnt know Caster Cu is story locked! I just thought I wasnt lucky because I only got him to NP3. You get him first when you clear Singularity F so I thought he'll be a regular summon.

I actually almost rolled for Morgan for this exact reason, except there was FGO THE STAGE Solomon banner earlier in September 2022 that had Caster Cu and Gilgamesh on rate up. That's when I rolled the exact number of copies I needed to have enough coins for full append + 120. Only thing remaining for me is Bond 15 for the final coins but I'm not so worried when farming with post LB6 CasCu is really easy.

I can't of think it off the top of my head but there's a way to loop with CasCu using any CE, mystic code, and without Oberon. You needed to max his 1st skill and second append iirc

I must admit, i'm a little salty about how servant coins were implemented, even though its been a while. when the update came, they only gave you coins for servants that you had separated copies of. my casCu was np 4, but I only got the coins for one copy of him and his bond levels :( I'd have to yolo sq or grind out bond beyond level 10 if I wanted to do the black grail farming w/ him now. I have oberon, so I can make that work, but more damage is always good ...

A possible spot you could also get him is a Chaldea Boys banner since there are story locks in those banners. I wouldn't pull purely for him but if you wanted to aim for one of the SSRs coule be a nice bonus. It's rough for people who had him before coins were added since you didn't get any for silver and bronze Servants.

My maxed out cascu at 120 with mlb black grail, 2xkoya, oberon... There's literally nothing I can't farm. Class type no longer matters. With event dmg CE buffs I'm getting to 6 million dmg. The game feels totally broken now. IF he manages to die, I have a 120 maxed out CuAlter that finishes the job. Now I am become death, destroyer of health bars.

So it's definitely possible if you invest a serious amount of time and love into this game, but I'm too busy playing Dokkan Battle to be that invested. I know it's possible.

​Easier to loop but the loss in damage is big so you might not clear the wave. If you really can't unlock 2nd append the options with BG are: 1) with mage uniform to give him the 20% remaining charge that he needs. 2) with atlas uniform so that you use only one Vitch and put Oberon instead as the second support. 3) just use plugsuit so you double Vitch + Oberon like most Buster units do right now

In damage terms not really But he's better in the way he can farm irregular nodes, and doesn't need as many supports as Chen Gong so the team cost would be considerably lower, and would allow you to use 6 Slot Ce or Oberon to make up for the lack of damage on the last wave. In general i think it's better But that's just my opnion
