Hi,豫魯姐, I have enjoyed your cooking shows immensely. Would like to make this dish this weekend. But I am not sure if I can get 地瓜粉 easily. I have different types of starch/flours in my panatry - corn flour, wheat flour, corn meal, rice flour, lotus meal, Panko, etc.. May I substitute the 地瓜粉 with any of these?

Hi, since I didn't hear from you, I decided to give it a try with Panko. Unlike flour, Panko is crumbly. I had to really press the crumbs in. That turned out to be a mistake. When I seared the meat in the oil, the Panko crumbs fell off, and they burned in the oil. I had to scrape off the burned crumbs from the meat before baking. Nonetheless, the outcome was good enough. The pork belly was tender and flavorful. It also had a somewhat crunchy crust. My husband liked it very well. I didn't taste it (because I am a vegetarian). But I am happy when he is happy. I will cook it again. Will find 地瓜粉 next time. No more Panko for this dish. It is too messy.
