Last year I purchased a John Deere 300 with the 16 hp Kohler and ripped it out and installed it in my Cub Cadet 129 since the 12 Hp Kohler it had was a little tired

Do you know if you have to pull the engine to get the points cap off?

Lucky they have a Small Hole in Frame to get the Bottom Screw out , to Remove Cover, but still not a Easy Task!!

I have a few Cubs 129 and I love them. I have a question about the 16 HP in this 1650 Is it just a Kohler 341S of it special like a 342AQS ?
