I purchased my Cadet 28 Inch 5 years ago from Tractor supply in New Braunfels Texas.. Starts up no problem, cuts great, very strong no lugging down. Early summer, I like to use the grass catcher to collect some of the stray weeds and discard them in the trash can. No sense in spreading weeds! The grass catcher kept clogging up. I had to stop and get a rubber hose that wood bend to unclog he chute. This kept happening and noted that the chute was jagged around the entrance where it connects to the mower discharge area. I went back to see what Tractor Supply could do and they told me to contact Cadet. I contacted them and ended up buying another mower chute at $86 dollars. The same shit happened. The mower cuts and continues to clog, So don't expect the grass catcher to work properly! Buyer beware! It doesn't catch grass; it just clogs up!

Yes, I know! It cuts good but the catcher leave lot to be desired. I use all season and I have to empty it frequently when the grass is wet or long. When it is wet it just clogs. I have had this for about 5 years too. I love the design other than the catcher. I have been thinking about getting a commercial on with the caster wheels.

@@jstev67 I just saw a you tube video, that the extra pair of blades are for grass catching. Why didn't the factory rep tell me that! I'll change out the blades and see what happens.

I have been looking at this online to replace a conventional mower. I cut a few yards each week, and can simply haul be 22inch in the back of a pickup. Can the CC600 be lifted by one person, and loaded in a truck? I assume its too big or bulky for that, but thought id ask. Thanks!

No way. Make a ramp. Try Amazon search Loading Ramp for Lawnmower. You just screw them to two 2x10

Does it have 1 drive wheel or 2?

I am no 100% sure but I think it is two.

@@jstev67 it 2 but has a limited slip transfer case I've had mine in some muddy yards

The 1-star reviews on this machine are a big red flag. There are much better options out there from Toro and Honda. Bad clogging design and cheap build quality.

I agree with the clogging but I have had mine for about five years and it still works good. I try to launch the grass out the side unless it gets too high.

Does it? It’s been working great for 3 years. It always starts on the first button push.

@@jstev67 I got the craftsman version I think I got water in my engine from the week of rain we got love the high lift blades and as a lawncare owner the bagger is great so I'll probably buy this to replace my slightly different craftsman
