Super useful Darren, thanks. Like the comment below, I've used Cubase Pro for years and never knew about this feature.

Very useful. I've been a Cubase Pro 11 user for quite awhile now and I had no idea bout this. Good stuff, thanks.

Oh my goodness, I love it and use it a decent amount but I never really understood why you would use the sequencer function of it. Very good. That is good.

There are so many features in Cubase, I think there's always something new around the corner. 👍

In the Project Setup dialogue you can set Display Bar offset, and in the Metronome Setup dialogue you can alter the number of count-in bars for the preroll. I think these transfer between sessions, but you could always make a template if not.

Yeah, TBH my comment was more about my playing than any issues with Cubase!

I love Arpache and use it all the time, but didn't know about "Always show on the top"! Thanks for the very useful tip! However, I don't think this is "polyphonic arpeggio", the title is misleading.

I've not watched it, so I'm hoping that's a positive thing?

@@musictechtuition 😁Yes it is! I only said it because of the similarity in your voice. But he's one of the most beloved characters in there.

Note a bug on this, if there is no note on the very first step of the MIDI sequence you drop, it will go out of sync when you record the output, example, off-beat bass. This has been reported as a bug to Steinberg, hopefully a fix is coming, probably in 2030! :/
@musictechtuition6 ай бұрын
That's interesting, thanks for that. Do you know how the bug was reported and when?
@musictechtuition6 ай бұрын
Hi... I've just tried that with an offbeat bass part of 1 bar long, and it works fine. Which version are you seeing that bug on?
@bennyceca6 ай бұрын
@@musictechtuition that's interesting, although it's confirmed on the forum for others too for v12 onwards. I tried it in 10 and 11 too some time ago, same issue. Just tried it again on Pro 13.0.40, same thing, if there is no note on the very first step, then it won't respect the pattern.

@@bennyceca Any chance you could dropbox (or similar) the cubase project with an example in? Always interested as to things like this when I can't repro them but other people can...
@musictechtuition6 ай бұрын
@@bennyceca I've just tried it again with a 16th missing rather than an 8th. Same result - it's working fine for me - hence asking for a project that does it, as sometimes there's something else subtle that leads to the issue, and others can't always repro it. Here's an image of the project with a render of the arp-ed MIDI and you can see it's all fine, a 16th late. ibb.co/cwypTbc

Nice and useful, but I would not call these arpeggios...
