What an ebike! This CUBE Kathmandu Hybrid left me so impressed that I had to have it. I had no intention of buying a bike, but after riding it around Hood River, Oregon, I couldn't go home without it!
I think after watching the video you may well feel the same way.

Thanks for your review, it helped me decide to buy my Kathmandu Pro, had it for a few weeks here in Norfolk England, I can't praise it enough, the build quality is amazing. I'm in my 60's and have hip problems so anything more than 10 miles on my normal road bike left me in some pain for days after. The Cube means I can now cover 25-30 miles with no issues, if the going gets hard I just ask for more assistance but I can still get the benefit of exercise, a superb machine. Reading comments about the motor being noisy? Certainly not an issue on my bike.

Hi there, good review of the cube, after much research i purchased the Cube Nuride Hybrid Pro 500 Allroad, a couple of weeks ago for my needs, really well made ebike, the Bosch motors seem to be strong.

In a world with lots of negative news it’s great to watch your enthusiastic videos. What happened to the rad bike? How much is it? How does it compare to the Rad? What is the range for the battery?

Thanks for the kind words. They mean a lot! The Rover was a great bike to start my ebike adventure with. But, I discovered that I want something that was more nimble, more agile, solid, and more bicycle like I guess. So far I can’t address real life range. As you know it all depends on so many factors. Hills, headwinds, my weight, assist level. The folks at Oregon Ebikes thought I might be able to get up to 60 miles on a charge using the lowest assist level called Eco. I’ll let you know in upcoming videos.

@@e-BikeLife I bought mine about 8 weeks ago. By god it’s heavy bike. I think I currently easily get 50miles, so two days commute (20km each way x 4)

@@riteshsuthar7057 Yes, compared to a non-ebike it is hefty. But, it is considerably lighter than some of the fat tire bikes such as the Rad Rover and Magicycle you may have seen on KZbin.

@@e-BikeLife I like the look of the bike and the very nice details such as the chainguard that wents down round the chainring to protect the chain from dirt that splashes from the front wheel. But the engine sound disturbes me, perhaps this specific motor on that bike is broken or not setup correct in a way or not greased at the time of assembling. It is the Bosch Performance Line Speed Gen 4 ain't it?

Very jealous of your bike. I have 3 ebikes from Cube for the all household and they are amazing. Too bad in the UK and europe for that matter we need to have insurance and a license plate for this version. I hope soon Cube goes for a hub system for this bike with gates belt.

You don’t need insurance and a license plate. That’s only necessary if it goes more than 15miles an hour. Which this doesn’t.

This is a Class 3 bike. The 45 in the name stands for 45kmh which is equivalent to 28 mph.

I really wanted a bike with three things. Class 3, Gates belt drive, and internal hub. I originally really wanted a Gazelle, but when I got on the CUBE and it fit my size so well and the Gazelle didn’t, I had to go with it. And, I’m happy I did.

@@e-BikeLife yes i imagine that the charger 3 was prohibitive from riese and Müller. Its funny used to have that stem rise on my previous bikes as well since i am 6'4. Definitely in the future i will aim for a class 3 as well, maybe a Load 75 from riese and Müller.
