Just had a software update on the bike via the flow app! Brings a few new features, like navigation, and gear selection prompts. What I’ve noticed is the much improved battery life, really good now !

Hi there Kurt hope you are well and enjoying your bike mate. I also own this bike and also have the 2019 SLT cube reaction. These are extremely good ebikes and the bosch components are second to none in my personal opinion. I have had minimum matenance issues other than replacement chain and chain ring. My first cube ebike is 5 years old and still a beast I use this one for commuting now and my more up to date one ( the one the same model as yours ) for off road. I went for a hard tail rahter than rear suspension as it suits my needs and is more versatile for my needs. Of course it goes without saying you have to look after your ebike just like you would your car to keep it in tip top shape. Cube is extremely good value for money for what you actually get. And a good investment for anyone looking for a good solid commuter bike, or simply a bike for the trails.

Hey mate , great review! I’ve got the same bike bike but in the xxl . Do you find the first 10 % of the battery goes fast ? But I suppose being 115 kg and 6 foot 4 , and being a double amputee , I guess it would lol . Great bike thus far , looking forward to more of your videos

Hi Bruce . Glad you liked the review . Not really noticed the issue with the battery. I seem to get 1 mile per 1% but it’s new

@@KST1P have you used the flow app , and changed the ride modes at all ? I’m wondering if any tweaks would help with power draw . However I find after the first 10% is gone , it goes down a lot slower . I live in wales and my ride are quite hilly, the most I’ve done is 29 miles with 2900ft elevation gain and got home with 47% battery remaining. I’m hoping it improves with future software updates. On your next video can you show real time data of battery usage please , on various terrain conditions.

@@brucefalkenberg7242 hi Bruce . Yes . I use Flow app . Definitely getting less mileage in the cold . Just updating the motor tonight . I had updated flow app but apparently the motor needs to be done in the store so will let you know 👍

Nice video. What is the motor like for noise? I have the 65Nm performance model and it is almost silent.

No , I’m careful with my money as these bikes need quite a bit of maintenance. I did however get a seat post riser which I absolutely love and would definitely recommend if you’ve got some spare cash

I bought the 750 . Once you get into it you want as much mileage as you can get ! You just want to keep going . The worst thing is, like electric cars, you want to enjoy the ride without worrying about getting home ! 👍
