Hi Liz. Thanks. It is to die for round that part of the world. You may have liked the video but somebody doesn't. I have yet another thumbs down. Why? What do some people want - blood? My larder of films is empty now so only local rides from now on and I'm not even sure whether I'm allowed to because of lock down. What do you think? Cheers.

Hi Larry. It looks a long way but if you've all day it won't matter. The only slightly worrying thing is on google maps the track has a gap in it about half way there. Maybe it's nothing to worry about really. Cheers

At the end of the tarmac road it turns into a track which we followed for a short while. This track, as the sign at the gate said, goes on and on for 19 miles all the way to a tiny place called Tarbet. I can only dream of going on that ride. In fact, starting on a full charge from the motorhome it would be about 54 miles there and back which would challenge not only us but the bike batteries as well. There is also another place called Tarbet near the top end of Loch Lomond. Oh my god! It's a different world up there. As far as a thumbs down, it doesn't bother me that much. I just wish they'd tell me why! Even ABBA have thumbs down on original videos from years ago singing their biggest hits. Why???? It's laughable. I did think at one time it was someone who didn't like music on my videos but this video is music free, so it can't be that. The mind boggles. I have few local un filmed rides that I have in mind that could be rough in places, so is the Cube, with it's rather thin road going tyres, up to the job? You bet it is. On Top Gear they take ordinary cars on road trips with rough roads that they weren't really meant for, but somehow they manage to get there. It can only mean more interesting videos lol. Cheers.

Now I'm looking at the Highlands for cycling so your vids give me some great ideas Keep safe my friend atb David
