I think the OH record is going to be the main thing stopping the US from a sweep. Fahmi is just so much better than anyone else so once he actually gets results in comp, nobody else stands a chance.

3:46 Pratik Khanna is apparently on a similar level to Zayn/Carter (maybe even faster) but just hasn't been able to compete for a while. You can see some of his home times on the UWRs page

5:10 Jasper is miles ahead of everyone else at home. Once he gets something good for him in comp, WR is gonna be pretty unreachable for basically everyone else for a good while

7:24 yeah LML is ridiculously fast now. He's very capable of getting like a 27 or 26 average, which would pretty much lock down WR for at least a year or two

I wouldnt say FM is a wr that s easy to defend for US. Especially recently people like Cyprian, Mauro, Theodor and Radosław from Europe and Jack, Tommy and Jaiden from Australia have shown that given enough luck they are capable of getting great results

FMC has got to the point where it’s entirely scramble based. You could have a 100% optimal solution that’s still not good enough to be a wr.

Yeah, there was a simultaneous FMC comp across Australia last Sunday, and on attempt three Jayden only needed a 19 to tie WR and a 21 to tie OCR, but he got a 23, lol

It's no surprise USA wasn't holding many world records at the time Feliks was dominating and no surprise they have gotten more as Feliks has become less competitive and USA has a big cubing population.

No offense but the term "American" to refer only to people from the United States, is no longer used and should not be used, literally only you use it. And obviously I say this because "American" is anyone who comes from the American continent, such as Canadians, Mexicans, Brazilians, Colombians, etc. That's why you should stop using that term to refer only to you.

Most of the English-speaking world uses "America" to refer specifically to the US. It's mostly just Latin America that uses it to mean people from North/South America
